Great Enterprise email software
Review of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Complete package by
luketheking123
Advantages: Well designed and works well
Disadvantages: The cost can be high for up and coming companies
If you've got an enterprise business with real email needs, forget the standard edition. Theres only one way to go and thats with this version...enterprise. Standard edition only offers 16GB database limit which these days isnt very much at all. It also only offers 1 mailbox store. Enterprise offers you up to 20 mailbox stores which makes for far better organization. You can have for example sales in one store, accounts in another and another for ... ...Enterprise also offers clustering and X400 connectors for thoese who require them. All in all, theres really no better email software out there. Your other alternatives are Lotus Notes which in my experience is nowhere near as easy for your end users to use as Exchange with Outlook. ...

Review of Flashget Download Manager by
dE_logics
Advantages: Tons of features (can't be listed), Download database, automatic bandwidth limiter, nice monitor
Disadvantages: Sometimes results in corrupt downloads, perfection in automatic bandwidth limiter and bit torrent required.
...said about the bit-torrent module (i recommend utorrent instead).
For a new user, the interface is a bit confusing, but you'll get used to it.
we have a new downland manager names 'orbit' its features are similar (but less), lets see if this can cope up to flashget ...

Review of Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2007 by
francesmain
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Too slow, too much memory useage - beware!
I bought this anti virus software for my daughter from a computer store just earlier this year. I install the software and have had huge problems in memory on my daugters computer so much so that I have removed this software from her system and replaced this with an internet software that costs me nothing and does not use up too much memory and also does not slow my daughters computer down to nearly a stand still. Would not recommend this software ...

norton anti virus 2007
Review of Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2007 by
gregory-j
Advantages: the live help can sometimes be usefull
Disadvantages: the space it takes up from your computer.
I believe that norton anti-virus really isnt the best you can get for your money. i bought this from my local computer superstore roughly 2 months ago, and i can honestly say il never buy norton again. it takes way too much computer memory and can slow down your system a hell of alot! not only this, but it doesnt always install correctly and it's also pretty useless. it hasnt picked up a single spyware or virus on my computer since i bought it, yet ... ...package picks up 20-30 infections a week! i had to get some live assistance when i first installed norton because a component didnt install correctly. it was a 10 minute wait and the responses were slow and painstaking. it's got alot of variety when it comes to features, but only about 2 of these actually need to be used, the disk clean up and disk defragmenter wich actually work. its not reliable as it doesnt warn you when a threat is detected.

Best free antivirus
Review of Avast - Anti-virus by
dE_logics
Advantages: Custom shields, less memory hog, when shut down system preforms at ultimate performance
Disadvantages: Small stability problem, does not detect system files.
ITs popularly know the be the best free antivirus, and i do agree with it after using it continuously for around 3 years. At that time i was forced to use the software since this was one of the few which supported XP x64 version officially.
Till now the software proves its reliability as one of the best free anti-virus softwares, the pro (paid) versions too remains on the top 10. The striking feature of the antivirus is its customization, it has ... ...thus will only require limited resources.
Unlike Noton, it uses less RAM and scanning activity is made to stop, it doesn't hinder the performance of the system to the strictest sense.
It supports archive scanning (even .msi files), this has been a standard feature for a long time.
The 4.8 version includes much better reliability by confirming the status of its services. It can't be terminated by a BAT file, if you do it manually it shows a warning. ...
