Norton AntiVirus - Keep Away!

Advantages: It is alright at finding and removing viruses.
Disadvantages: Slows computer down, difficult and time consuming installation, sometimes misses viruses

I've had Norton on my computer for many years. This is one of the versions I have used. However, my opinion remains the same for all of the Norton Antivirus software- I don't like it. I have a couple aquaintances who use other antiviruses that are much cheaper and are a lot more convenient. Norton Antivirus slows down your startup of your computer especially if it is an older one. It takes up a lot of space on your computer, saying it is "necessary" ...

...I had found out that Norton Internet Security was simply not necessary. I after speaking to a lot of people that purchased this we all came to the same conclusion that this was making everyone\'s computers run slow and conflicted with many programs. I would never recommend this in the future either as Norton has lost its credibility with me.
