Easy Peasy Photo Editing

Advantages: Easy to use for beginners

It's COOL alright

Advantages: Does a superb job quickly and easily.

Ulead Cool 3D is an exceptional package when you consider what it does compared to how much you might expect to pay for such a package. I bought my copy in The Works of which there are quite a few branches spread all over the UK, it cost me £3.99 and was an excellent investment. A nice little animator

Advantages: easy to use, compression tools and good stock filters
Disadvantages: could use more filters

Use the Ulead gif animator when you want to throw a quick animation together. It offers many interesting filters and its quick to use. You can insert your own text comments for credit on the graphics. The filters are neat, you can do page rolls in seconds, fades, roll overs and much more. There are at least 10 good filters that I use inside of it. You can also through it in to a compression section that will bring down the colors to maximise compression ...

Review of GIF Animator 4.0 Complete package

Good application but not perfect

Advantages: Creates pro looking DVDs, supports dual layer DVD
Disadvantages: The slideshow functionality is not reliable, costs too much

On the whole I like my DVDW2 but it has some problems see below. I had the DVDW1 and upgraded but even so the price was still too high for what you get. So what do you get? When you start up the app, you get the option to open an existing project or create a new one. When creating a new project you get to choose DVD, SVCD or VCD - nice to have but I can't see why anyone would want to create SVCD or VCD when you can create a DVD with up to 3 hours ...
