Advantages: Gets your photos etc from your phone onto the PC with ease
Disadvantages: none that I can think of

I use this software with my Motorola V980 and have been very impressed with it. It comes on a CD with a USB lead that goes straight from the phone into the PC. To install the software you just need to insert the CD and it autoruns. As long as you can follow instructions you are fine. At last, the only way to solve the paper problem

I did hear it mentioned that they now come with the upgrade already included in the software, but you will need to find this out on the back of the box.
