Very intersting but focuses on Cog Psychology
Review of Psychology by georgie-girl

Advantages: course notes on web; good lecturers; good facilities
Disadvantages: Its a bit too focused on Cognitive Psychology

...I am studying BSc Psychology at Birmingham University... The course has been interesting, the workload is very light and they give you very few hours of timetabled lectures! There is a really strong focus on cognitive psychology - so be aware of that if you aren't too interested in it!! The first year offered the broadest base possible of different areas in psychology, from the basics of learning, to physiological psychology to child psychology. You also have to do Statistics, but it sounds scarier than it is. It's actual very straightforward! Unfortunately for my year, we were unable to choose any option in the second year, although we had been told we would get this chance! It meant we did no applied psychology and our attention was heavily focused on cognitive and physiological psychology. I am now in my fianal year, and am... Read review

Déjà vu
Review of Applied Psychology by l33te

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...Déjà vu is a very strange thing. In all the research which is done in to psychological meicine and research of the human brain, no one has yet to explain why it happens, how it happens. Some people say it is just a sixth sense but I do not believe that at all, in my view, Déjà vu happens a lot more when we are tired and I believe that it is just a miss function of the human brain.... Bangor - The place to go for Psychology!
Review of University of Wales, Bangor by xxgemxx

Advantages: Contains one of the best Psychology schools in the UK, Cheap cost of living
Disadvantages: Far away, Small university

...Last year, whilst trying to write my personal statement, I looked through as many prospectuses as I could to help me choose my 6 universities. This was the first time I came across the University of Bangor situated in Wales. I was lucky enough to already know what I wanted to study - Psychology, having really enjoyed it at A-Level. Now I just needed to pick the right places to do my degree. A friend of mine is currently in her first year stuudying psychology at the University of Bangor. She totally loves it there - the course as well as the place. Bangor has been known to be ideally cheap for living and going out. Although it is not like a big city unuiversity, it does have a close community. My careers advisor told me that Bangor is excellent for psychology, the teaching is of an extremely high standard and the facilities are very... Read review
