Personally, i have found that it is better to buy a 250cc Aprilia than a 125cc Aprilia. This is mainly because, over here in Northern Ireland, it is hard to get parts for the 125cc machine. If you are going to get a 125cc bike try a Honda NSR125 or a Yamaha TZR125. They are older bikes but they are still more reliable and parts are more easily accessed. The parts are cheaper for the Yamaha and Honda as the Aprilia parts are exceeding 600 pounds on a good day. Imagine the price on a bad day! The good things about the Aprilia have to be the looks. You can pull a girl no problem on it. The disadvantage has to be the price of parts and the rareity of them.

Advantages: Nimble, light, ideal for short riders, reliable, excellent miles per gallon Disadvantages: Tall riders look ridiculous and find the riding positions uncomfortable.
