no "low fuel alert"

I wanted to get on the road as soon as possible. Being a 16 year old, there's only one option-get a moped. After long nights of contemplation over what kind of bike I should get and after much nagging of the parents, I decided to get an Aprilia RX50. Although I got the bike 3rd hand, it was in...

I didnt buy an RX50, but an MX50. The bike is almost identical to the RX 50, but has got road supermoto tyres on it, rather than the off road moto X tyres. This is a much better choice for 16 year old riders, like i was, as they give the rider much better grip on the road, as there is more rubber...

“my little super moto”

published 10/05/2008

fun, fun, fun

easily stealable as it is very light

I have a 04 plate one of these in blue / black and white. It is a super moto based bike with a single cylinder two stroke engine. It has a great riding position and superb handling due to the street style tyres. Great grip on the back end, alluminium spoked wheels as standard, a very light weight...

“Aprilia RX50”

Fast, good looks and can handle off road.

No fuel display.

I purchased my RX50 over 6 months before my 16th birthday so I had it lying around in my garage for a while; I already knew how to use the gears as I previously did motocross. The bike handled absolutely fine on (wet) grass as I used to take it up to a field to keep in running when I was waiting...

“Aprilia Rx 50 Super Moto”

Looks Good, Fast, Sounds Good, Comfortable, Great ...

Expensive Parts!

I decided to buy a geared bike, as they look much better than peds because peds are frankly SH**! You can use this bike buy doing you CBT , al though the law restricts you to do 30mph! [however this is a dangerously low speed!] The bike is a 50cc engine, produces 6Hp!! :O Displacement: 49.70 ccm...

Not very secure, no fuel guage

I have had my Aprilia RX50 for a few days now, i had taken it on some private roads as i am not yet 16. I find it nippy, good speed (derestricted) and is comfortable to ride, it is quite heavy if you are still. But it handles quite nicely but doesn't turn very much if you are turning it around...

I read the only other view with my mouth open with shock! Maybe I have a bad example of the bike but mine doesnt have a battery....the lights only work when engine is funning and is kick start The bike is capable across fields, i have access to (legally) 250 aches of land, with a pillion i...
