Aquafresh ExtraCare Family Friendly mouthwash spearmint

I always like to use a mouthwash after brushing my teeth, I more often than not use it in the mornings and in the evenings and just brush my teeth without using one for the other times during the day. I have tried both branded and shops own brands of mouthwash and I find them all very good ones, but I do prefer a branded one. I bought this one on special offer for only £1 from my local shop, so I thought I would give it a go since I had not tried this particular one but I have tried the another flavour in this brand and quite liked it.

This one comes in a transparent plastic bottle and the amount in the bottle is 250ml so quite a good size for the price. It has twist lid of which is very easy to twist the first time it is opened. The liquid inside has a hint of blue colour, it looks really refreshing inside the bottle too. It has a very strong smell of the spearmint flavour. This smell is really pleasant and it smells very fresh. The smell is very apparent immediately the top is removed with this one.

After brushing my teeth I just shake the bottle and I just fill the cap and rinse my mouth for up to 1 minute, any longer is not needed with this mouthwash. I find this one does not burn my mouth for the whole minute it is in my mouth as I have often found other brands have burned my mouth and I have had to spit it out well before the minute but this one is super and is quite a mild one for the mouth. It feels really refreshing while rinsing and when I have finished rinsing, I find my mouth and teeth feel amazingly refreshed and clean. When I glide my tongue over my teeth I can feel them feeling nice and clean. The taste does last for quite some time after using it too because it is very good quality. I have had a few problems with my gums in recent months and this wash has not irritated them to make them feel sore again, quite the opposite, this one has helped to keep them in good condition and has been nice and gentle on my gums in a way they feel really nice and they feel absolutely fine and I have had no problems with any gum irritation. There is nothing worse than having painful gums and a mouthwash burning them to cause more pain. This one does not have that effect at all.

This one is ideal for all the family to use but it cannot be used for children under the age of 6 years old. I cannot comment on how well it works for children but I would say it would be a nice, mild one for the little ones too in my opinion. It must not be swallowed but that is common sense if you use a mouthwash on a regular basis but for people who are just starting to use one then this is the advice not to swallow it.

It contains an active strengthening mineral which binds to the tooth enamel to help proect in the areas that need the most attention. We cannot brush every single part of our teeth no matter how hard we try and this wash can reach those areas while rinsing to help keep the teeth in a good condition and make them just that little bit stronger and healthier for as long as possible.

I find this one also refreshes my tongue, it does not burn it in the same way as it does not burn my gums. It is a really good quality wash and one that is excellent value for the money.

The bottle is also slimline, which means it is very easy to hold in the hands and it is not too bulky or tall and so it can easily fit inside my bathroom cabinet and not take up too much space.

I really do love the taste of this one, I love the way it refreshes my mouth and works hard to reach areas I cannot reach with my toothbrush alone. A little does go a long way with this one and I highly do recommend it for others to give it a go. I would definitely buy this one again because it gives me all the results that I expect from a branded mouthwash. If you prefer a milder mouthwash, this one may be for you.
