I tend to use different types of toothpaste, because I am forever trying to find a toothpaste that actually does a good job whitening. I have used the Aquafresh Multi Action + Whitening toothpaste as part of my trial in toothpaste testing. So what did I think...was I impressed, or not???
Packaging --------- The toothpaste comes in a rectangular cardboard box which has a really colourful holirgam blue and multi coloured design on it. The box is mostly blue. But its very impressive packaging, I must admit, I think I would choose this product others just for the quailty of the design :)
The tube of toothpaste itself, is the same colours, has the same holigrams, and is in the usual plastic long tube with a plastic cap to seal. The tube I have at the moment is 100ml.
Overall Score - 10/10
Smell ----- The smell
is overall very minty and fresh smelling, just what you expect from a toothpaste I guess.

Apperance --------- Aquafresh is an outstanding toothpaste compared to other competitors due to its colours. Generally, toothpaste is White, or Green or maybe Blue, however, Aqafresh is mixed, it has 3 stipes in....
Red - Complete Protection White - Gentle Whitening Blue - Fresh Breath
The colours make the toothpaste very distinctive to the Aquafresh trademark.

Okay, before I go on to describe the toothpaste in more detail, I would like to tell you what the scientific theory is behind the toothpaste...or in other words, what the manufacturers tell us, what this product can do for us...
1 - Gently breaks up stains to get teeth whiter. 2 - Helps prevent the build-up of deposits which can attract stains 3 - Helps kill bacteria 4 - Helps maintain strong teeth, healthy gums and clean fresh breath.
The product promises to help;
1 - Bring teeth back to their natural whiteness 2 - Maintain Healthy Gums 3 - Strengthen Enamel 4 - Lasting Freshmess
Taste & Texture ---------------- The toothpaste is quite smooth, I know that some toothpastes can be a sort of lumpy texture, this is nice and smooth. It has a nice minty flavour which is'nt too overwhelming, and is overall, a very nice taste and texture to have in my mouth :)

After Brushing --------------- My teeth feel clean and look clean after brushing, I would not say they are a lot whiter. This is the disapointing part of this product I feel, as it is the main reason why I am using it.
All the toothpastes I use have a whitening action, not all work, but the ones which do work, have a really good effect on my teeth. The Aquafresh whitening does not seem to work straight away, I may perhaps however have to keep trying it for maybe a few weeks, and see if that makes any difference. You may be thinking that I have not given the product very much time to work, however, some whitening toothpastes I have used have instant whitening action, ie Mcleans Whitening...however you might find that products like Mcleans do not work quickly or at all eiher, I suppose at the end of the day, we are all different!
My teeth do feel really clean after brushing, and I can say that that clean feeling lasts for a good few hours, which is quite a good point.
Overall Score - 6/10 (not the best for whitening)
Price ------ My boyfriend bought this, so I am not sure on the exact price, I am sure i've seen it for about £2.00, my boyfriend claims that he paid £1.99, so that makes it about right. Good value for money?? Yes!! I would say it was quite good value for money, as you do tend to pay a lot more for a good whitening product anyway.
Stockists --------- You can purchase from any chemist, supermarket, body store etc, prices will vary from store to store.
There are no harsh abrasives contained in this product.
Contact Information -------------------- The manufacturers are called GlaxoSmithKline, whom to be honest, I have never heard of before, but i'm sure you will all know of thir product Aquafresh! I wonder if they make any more products???!!! Their contact address is as follows;
Overall Opinions ---------------- I think this product will be a highly succesful one, especially with young children as the packaging is really nice. People will buy this because it suits all the family, ie bright colours for the kids, and whitening action for the adults and brand name for the teens. :)
Overall, it is good value for money and you can tell its a good quailty product. It does the job it says it will, however as I am not too patient, it doesn't whiten teeth fast enough im my opinion, however, I must stress it does say on the box that it has a GENTLE whitening action, so I guess this means it will take time.
I hope you give this product a go, because I am quite sure you will be happy with the results in any case.

Good op. I too bought this toothpaste last week, partly because of its whitening claims and aslo because of the packaging. I have noticed a subtle change in the colour of my teeth. Perhaps it needs to be used over a period of a few weeks.

I've been lured away from Aquafresh after using it for years - mainly by buying offer stuff. I may have to face facts and stump up for a full price tube. Great Op.
