I mainly stick to using whitening toothpastes when it comes to my teeth. As i feel if you can achieve a nice whiter smile then you should do it. It is nice to look in the mirror and see a nice white smile staring back.
I mainly use Aquafresh whitening but i do sometimes use Colgate and Macleans. It kinda depends on the offers at the time. Although i highly recomend Aquafresh Whitening.
The one i am currently using is a pump bottle which stands upright and it is very easy and convenient to use. Meaning there are no problems with squeezing the old tube on regular toothpastes to get the toothpaste out!!!
We all know what causes tooth decay and discolouring. Things like drinking coffee regularly can stain your teeth, drinking cola , eating too many sugar sweets and lots of other things.
But we can fight this by changing our diets slightly and improving our oral hygiene.
Aquafresh uses a 3 stripe toothpaste which provides triple protection. The Red Stripe - It fights plaque - Our mouths are full of bacteria that build up on the teeth causing plaque. The plaque is caused by the bacteria catching particles of the food we intake and builds on the teeth causing a yellow plaque.
The White Stripe - It fights decay - Frequent sugar in your diet mixed with insufficient brushing can result in tooth decay. If you are a heavy drinker of fizzy juice and you do not brush your teeth enough they will start to decay and slowly rot. Meaning it will cost you trips to the dentist for things suchas fillings and tooth extraxtions. Pricy and also a bit painful. So why do that to your teeth when all it takes is to brush them with a good toothpaste regular ?
The Blue Stripe - Freshens breath - I myself cannot stand bad breath i feel it is due to a bad diet amongst other things. It is the bacteria in our mouths that causes the bad breath , multiplying on the food we put in our mouths. but regular brushing soon combats that.
The toothpaste itself has whitenig micro particles which helps remove stains from your teeth.
People of all ages have used AQUAFRESH the brand for over 25 years , proving that it has had very strong staying power as a trusted brand.
I love this toothpaste as it is not overly strong it is just right and it doesn't overly foam up too much in your mouth which is good as i dont like choking on a mouthful of foam.The taste is minty and fresh. It tastes quite subtle but leaves your breath smelling fresh and your teeth feeling clean.
To me good Oral hygiene is very important because a smile can speak volumes for someone. Especially a nice white smile! I like this toothpaste becasue it protects your teethas well as your gums. It is fresh and minty and leaves your teeth feeling clean.
Does it Whiten ? In my opinion it does because i do drink fizzy juice and notice some staining on my teeth. However after cutting down on the juice a little and using this for a few weeeks i can notice the stains starting to go!
The Whitneing effect can take up to 28 days before you notice any changes. My teeth also feel stronger and less sensitive which is definately a plus point.
The cost for this was not expensive at all. I got my toothpaste for £1.00 from my local chemist which i thought was excellent for a brand name whitening toothpaste. Although the cost can vary depending on where you shop.
Ways to Protect You Teeth Regular Checkups at the dentist - Visit your dentist for a check up every 6 months. Cut down on sugar - Think about what you eat or drink may do to your teeth not just now but in the fututre. Regular Brushing - One of the easiest things to do brush at least twice a day to keep your teeth healthy.
It is recommended that you do not use this toothpaste on kids under 7 years old.

I hate having a mouthful of foam ~ I often use an organic choice from FreeLife which is flouride-free and contains BGSE* (bio-enhanced grapefruit seed extract) ~ and a related mouthwash ~ ! ♥♥ ! ~ ........................................................... ~ jes ~ ! ♥♥ !
