Now a lot of you have ready my story about I.V.F., now this is about my husband. He has got Chronic Psorasis, his body is literally covered in over 80% of it. Crikey if I told you all everything that has happened to us in the last five years you just wouldnt belive it! you would have to have at least 10 boxes of tissues but we smile and laugh and carry on, luckily we have a strong marriage and speak a lot.
The product i am going to tell you about is Aqueous Cream.
The Packaging ------------- White tub, with screw top lid. 500g. A lot of shops make there own Aqueous cream. Boots and All chemists sell it as a leading product, so its easily available A label on the front in white with black writing on telling you all about the product, which ill go into more in other categories.
The Cost -------- This really depends where you buy it from Most places are around £2.50 to £3.00. The cheapest where i get it from is the Co-op Pharmacy at £1.99 which is great for us as we use loads. Be wary of prescriptions for it as i used to pay over £6 on a prescription until the co-op told me how much it is.
The Product ----------- Its a white thick cream, like Sudocream that you use for babies, its very thick, you can tip the tub upside down and it wont come out. It has a slighty oily feel to it that soaks into your skin. It doesnt really smell of anything, which is good otherwise hubby wouldnt be able to use it for his skin. When you rub it into your skin it leave it soft.
Who can use it -------------- Adults can use it and children and elderly. Its very versatile in its use and will last for up to three months, however if you use it like my hubby it lasts for around 3 days. Its quite safe to use and can be used whilst pregnant and also whilst breast feeding.
Its also a skin cleansing product and is great for getting makeup off at night. also i must admit i do pinch a bit of his cream, especially in winter when your face is dry as i then use it for its emolient oils for softening and smoothing skin.
what does it contain --------------------- it contains an emulsifying ointment called Cetostearyl and alchol and liquid parrafin and white soft parafin amongst others.
does it work ------------- Yes it does for my needs, however for my husband it doesnt clear his skin up, it softens it so that hes not in excrutiating pain when his skin cracks, can you imagine 80% of your skin cracking everday... It also stops him for flaking as his skin is kept moist.
This can be bought over the counter at the chemist. it is only for external use only so if you have dry skin anywhere else please go and see your doctor first before using or your pharmacist. Even if my hubby had a miracle cure, i would always have a tub of this in. Its so soft and gentle.
In conjuction my husband uses exorex for his psorasis which is £25 a bottle and we use about 12-16 bottles a month of this, which works out very expensive for us so when we cant afford it we use this which keeps it from really flaring up bad. It doesnt stain his clothes or bedding when he puts it on unlike many products we have used before.
Try it, you will be suprised, how much do u pay for your face creams! or moisturisers, a lot of my friends now use this for many things.

I also tried Aqueous Cream but found it no use at all, it is just a moisturiser.
I was covered at one time I use to use Dead Sea Soap, about £4
for a bar of this soap and smothered myself in it when in the bath.
Sorry to hear husband suffers so badly with this condition
