I purchased mine from Hein Gericke whilst it was on sale for £375. They were very helpful in choosing my helmet and after convincing me that it was possible to fit the corsair to my head, for a more comfortable fit. They replaced the skull cap and cheek pads for a snugger fit.

The main niggle with the helmet is initially getting to grips with the visor change mechanism, but after a short demo, i was able to change it whilst on my head. Takes some practise, but it means that i can now change visors whilst the lid is on my head - something useful.

The helmet does get noisy, so ear plugs are must. The vents work very well, cooling my head in summer and the liner does its best to wick sweat away.

Pinlock insert is definitely useful and very thankful that i have it both on this lid and on my shoei XR.

The paint scheme on the nakano is gorgeous with the pearlescent midnight purple (which appears black). Certainly unique and gets me noticed. I can't find any faults with this product and i can't find any other helmet to take its place.

The only downside is price and there is NO way i will pay full RRP for my lid which is why i only gave it 4 stars. For 375, i'd say that it was a steal for an official UK lid (plus phoenix the distributors gave me a free trolley rucksack with it)
