comparing degree&diploma in UEL
The first 3 years of studies (Bsc Architecture RIBA part 2) had to be tough. In UEL the workload is very heavy. Students have to learn how to organize their projects in a small time limit. During the degree the amount of info that a student gets is extremely big: You have to learn all the basic skills (computer skills, model making, various ways of expression), together with more academic knowledge, combine conceptual thinking with technical knowledge and environmental issues, learn how to observe architectural world, in both a practical and theoretical manner.

Religion - A look at some of the main religions, comparisons and contrasts, practices.
Literature - Poetry (different forms and eras), plays, novels, greek tragedies...

...at Cambridge, despite the degrees available being limited to classical 'academic' subjects such as history, law, theology, philosophy and natural sciences.
So, wow, being in Cambridge, eh? Yes wow indeed, it's world's apart from my home - it has stupendous architecture all around, opportunities for grants and loans, over one hundred libraries and countless other resources. Yes, it is steeped in tradition, but that's kind of nice, especially when you look at it as nothing more than tradition. I don't find it elitist, formal halls and things seem like more of a reward for working hard enough to get here more than anything else. So we do have to get our gowns when we matriculate (start) rather than when we graduate, but it is pretty cool in its own way. Having a gown means you will always have a reminder of what you achieved through coming here...
