Well rounded course
Review of Business Information Technology by Ryan-Simpson

Advantages: Well rounded
Disadvantages: too many early classes

...This is a well rounded course, with a good all round selection of modules in computing and business management. For second year the modules are : Technology of e-commerce Multimedia Systems Computer Programming 2 Marketing Human Resource Managemnt Financial Statement Analysis For first year it was Computer Programming 1 Introduction to Managamnet Accountancy for non-specialists Information Technology Managament Information Systems Computer Architecture Most modules feature practical assessments and coursework, but these don't put too much pressure on you and the course in first year is a resonably easy work load. Review of La Trobe University by MotoAthan

Advantages: Excellent Health Science, Commerce and Economics, and Law departments, great student life
Disadvantages: dated buildings, difficult to find a car park space after 10am!

...with tennis courts, basketball courts and many ball game areas around the University. The Union has a Bar Night every Thursday night which is good for getting drunk and forgetting what you have learnt. --- Did we forget the education? --- La Trobe has 4 faculties, Science Technology and Engineering, Law and Management, Health Sciences, and Humanities. The University has too many courses to mention here so I'll concentrate on my Faculty, Law and Management. I'm currently undertaking a degree in Commerce. The Faculty of Law and Management is broken down into four departments. These are Economics and Finance, Tourism and Hospitality, Accounting and Management, and lastly Law and Legal Studies. Then all these have many bachelor (single, double, concurrent), graduate, postgraduate, masters and PHD degrees to choose from. The Library is three levels... Read review

Nottingham Uni - Computer Science
Review of Computer Science & Information Technology by jsbnotts

Advantages: new campus, great atmosphere, great department, BCS accredited
Disadvantages: some lecturers, communication between staff

...I'm currently in my second year at Nottingham University reading BSc in E-Commerce and Digital Business - a degree course offered by the School of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSiT) and also run in conjunction with the Business School. My course is VERY similar to the single honours Computer Science degree. Why CSiT @ Nottingham Uni? -------------------------- The major factor for me was the brand new campus built in 1998 which is a wonderful piece of modern architecture and very environmentally friendly. It has a very nice lake and an upside down shaped library and computer centre - a nice peceful environment in which to study. The School of CSiT has up-to-date technologies and loads of computers for students use. Lecture theatres are very ncie and modern and contain all the latest projection/presentation equipment...
