"Archos 605 Wifi"
This product is certainly an eye catching piece, when pulling this Archos out of your pocket in a social environment then you are sure to be asked questions about it. The first thing you may notice is the screen, it is a high resolution screen, 800x480 pixels, 4.3'' TFT LCD touch screen. It is an absolute crystal clear picture and watching movies or viewing pictures is so pleasing when you can see every last detail with out any blur or fuzziness. If watching videos is what you want from your portable device then Archos 605 or any Archos is a good choice. It is also possible to buy a DVR Station from Archos or any technology shop or electrical retailer. This device allows you to record live TV be it Sky, Virgin media or terrestrial TV. You can then play the recorded items back on the TV through the DVR station when connected to your TV. This means the 605 projects its screen onto a TV screen and you see what you would on your 605 screen. This is a perfect combination of your Archos and TV for any occasion, it would be ideal for a party as your music can played through your TV or if you just want to chill out and listen to your music while browsing your pictures. The pictures can be searched or even put on a slide show so you TV can transform into a giant digital photo frame. Archos say they have a 4GB, 30GB and 160GB vut when I purchased mine I noticed a 20GB version but I couldn't find any information on this model. I have the 30GB Hard drive model and this is more than enough for me it can store up to 40 Movies, 300,000 photos or 15,000 songs!
I think the Archos 605 is an all round excellent product and well worth buying.
