Advantages: Light, extra features, good quality, memory, media support. Disadvantages: Not really any.
Well it's a touchscrene for a start. It is amazingly easy to navigate, sporting a well-designed title menu. Furthermore, there isn't really an instalation process, it's pretty much just turn it on and off you go.

Range of Features
Pretty good, it has:
*More memory than you, or at least I, will ever use with 320GB storing up to 400 movies, 3.2 million photos, or 190,000 songs. I mean who gets time to watch 400 movies or listen to 190,000 songs? and as for 3.2 million photos...
*A die-hard battery, playing 39 hours music and 10 hours video playback time on a single charge.
* Video support for MPEG-4, M-JPEG and even ...

the archos 704 tv in my opinion is an excellent divice in the archos portable video range. it is a generation 4 device on thier website. it is the replacement to the older archos av700. it has a 7 inch screen and is of a very acceptable resolution. it can be filled with media from the included usb b cable or can act as a usb host, whitch i think is a very useful feature. the optional dvr station (around £60) is great and i would recommend it. a usb hard drive can be added and it makes the archos function in a way like a high capacity hdd recorder. upon picking up the archos the first thing you realise is that it is a very metallic and solidly built device. then you would realise the absance of buttons. this can be annoying as you will need to use the stylus a lot. for example if pausing or ajusting volume. this can be time consuming ...
Advantages: great video quality Disadvantages: it's unpocketable
IT'S HUGE in MEMORY capacity and in size. absolutely unpocketable!! but for this price, i think it's a bargain! will i get it? i very much would prefer the 60GB. which is a lot smaller in my opinion, but er, but....apart from that they pretty much do the same things, my brother has been going on about it for a long time, it seems like it's worth it, and for the price which this 250 giga bite media tablet is being sold, i would definitely recommend it to anyone. it can basically do and has got everything the ipod touch and iphone has got, and even better, being able to get videos in High Definiion is very amazing for me, I wouldn't buy this as a gift, I am definitely going to keep mine ...
