Advantages: Lots of space for all your gaming needs.
Disadvantages: Price, Dust, Missing GB

...My personal experience with the Xbox 360 hard drive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The hard drive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store. However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the hard drive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the hard drive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this. All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers arsenal... Read review

...I purchased my Archos QDISK about 12 months ago from a well known TV Shopping Channel, since then its price has fallen somewhat. This portable hard drive requires no driver for Windows XP or Windows 2000/ME. You simply plug the USB cable into your PC and away you go, it acts just as your local hard drive in that it appears as a Hard Disk Drive with a drive letter when you go to "My Computer". You can store absolutely anything on this portable hard drive and it seems as though you never run out of space, I am yet to use half of the 60 Gigabytes because there are no operating system files etc. The QDISK is also great for laptop computer users as it can fit into a laptop case, depending on your case size. Advantages: Very nice and relatively light high storage addon
Disadvantages: plastic.... "feeling hot hot hot " springs to mind.

...Speed / Size ---------------------- Note : This does require its own power source.. supplied in the form of a power adaptor. This is a 120 Gigabite hard drive, but formatted with fat 32 = 115 Gigs :-( Speed is 7200rpm, not sure about the cache sorry. Connections -------------------------- This is either usb 1.1 or 2.0, and i would very highly recommend that you use it with 2.0 as its very fast and trnsfering data is easier. With 1.1 it takes forever, and with that time comes heat, and with that heat comes less stability. It can be done with large files ( transfering that is ) but just be prepared to wait a long time :-) whilst moving 4 gigs from a friends pc, it took on usb 1.1 an hour and a half !!
