Advantages: Keeps the player safe during transport. Disadvantages: Can be unstable as a stand.
...This is the perfect complement to the Archos AV300 series Jukeboxes. You can access all of the ports through the case (all but the expansion one even when it is closed) and what you don't see from the picture is that the stand can be folded down and then another panel folded across to cover the screen for when you are just listening to music. Couple this with the remote control and you don't need to open the case to use the player. Overall this is an excellent case and if you own the jukebox you should definately own this. The only gripe I have with it is the stand can be unstable if used on an uneven surface.
(Ignore the battery life comment as it is not applicable)....

Advantages: You Will Never Lose It & It IsCheap Disadvantages: Extremely Big & Extremely Slow
...I have an Archos AV420, and I needed some extra memory. It has an external Compact Flash (CF) slot, so I bought a 1GB CF card for £14.99 from a website that I found on google.
This may be cheap, but I would not have bought this format if I could have bought anything else. I have found some problems with the card.
Firstly, the card is extremely big. This meant that I had to buy an extra external card reader, because my normal one couldn't accommodate the size. Luckily it came with a carry case because the card caboodle that I have was not big enough. So I now have to carry it around it another card holder which is a bit of a pain. It is roughly double the size of an MMC card, and nearly twice the thickness.
Secondly, it is painfully slow when transferring any sort of data from you PC to the card. I have Lost on my PC, and I wanted...

Advantages: Uses batteries, clear images, easy to use, lots of functions, good for beginners Disadvantages: Slightly heavy and thicker than other DCs, zoom is not too good
...stuff like night view, close-ups, distant scenery and stuff, but it also has special settings for flower close-ups with which you can still take pretty super-close-ups with a shaky hand, and settings for sea-photos, sub-aqua, food, self-photos, and it can help you do special effects like collage, merging two photos into one, connecting photos, colour lenses etc, which I find really cute!
Ooh, and the picture quality, it's excellent. Even shows black heads, which became a bit annoying and I had to choose a lower quality level...
Instruction manual is very clear, and the camera is generally working very well with the computer software that came with it, which helps you make funny photos too. Although, the camera could be a bit slow reacting when it's running low on batteries.
On the whole I'd suggest this camera for newbies in photography...
