Advantages: cheap and quiet Disadvantages: installation nightmare
I bought this cooler the other day on Amazon and it arrived today, thankfully 20 minutes after my new cpu did. The first thing that struck me was that the fan is positioned to the side of the heatsink rather than on top of it. Thus blowing hot air through the fins of the heatsink, which has the added advantage of cooling the electical transistors on the motherboard. The heatsink also came with thermal paste already in place which made things easier. ... ...pc) this seems so quiet, its unbelievable. A few times today I have thought the pc was not coming on because I could nt hear anything. In fact I never realised my hard drive made so much noise. So a few hours in and no problems and very happy with the product.
That said all was not "sunshine and lollipops", the installation was a complete nightmare. Now I have never changed a heatsink before but having looked at some on-line guides, I thought how ...

This extremely quiet CPU cooler Freezer 7 Pro with patented fan casing delivers outstanding cooling performance. The low speed 80 mm fan reduces the noise level to a minimum. The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 80mm fans. The PWM chip in the motor allows an exact fan speed control over the BIOS. The Heat Pipes with expanded diameter are able to transfer heat up to 200 Watt. The heat exchanger is built of 42 fins and consists of a surface area of over 4700 cm2 and allows for resistance free energy transfer to air. Air is drawn in from the side of the fan to cool the components around the CPU. Some air is blown out towards the voltage converters on the mainboard with the bent fins at the bottom. The four rubber connectors on the fan case act as a vibration damper to absorb the vibration of the running fan. This can reduce significant vibration between plastic fan case and heatsink. The cooler is to install without any tools within seconds.
