Manufacturer's product description
Super Silent 4 Ultra TCA features 92 x 92 mm heatsink with 38 fins that offers highest surface area. The low speed 92 mm fan reduces the noise level to a minimum. The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 92 mm fans. With 374 g is the Super Silent 4 Ultra still within the Intel specifications and therefore one of the lightest low noise coolers. This lowers the risk to damage the Retention Module or Motherboard. Thanks to a for the airflow important height of just 47 mm, this cooler can also be used in a low profile PC case. The Fan has been mounted onto four rubber supports to stop vibrations being transmitted to the heat sink. The Super Silent 4 Ultra shows a good cooling performance at a very low noise level and an affordable price. The fastening mechanism with two levers allows a fast and easy mounting.

...I recently upgraded my CPU to a retail version AMD 64, that comes with the standard cooler and fan. I found it to be very noisy and decided I needed a quieter CPU cooler. After looking at various options, and not having lots to spend, I decided on the ArcticCooling Silencer 64 UltraTC that retails at under £10.00.
This heatsink is suitable for socket 754/939/940 AMD Athlon CPU's, BUT is 15mm wider than the standard heatsink, so make sure there is room on your motherboard before ordering one.
The box that the it comes in also contains a motherboard retention module, a tube of Artic cooling MX-1 High performance thermal compound, a case sticker and a small sheet of notes, that is printed in English and German. The fitting instructions are printed on the back of the box.
The cooler.
The heatsink itself is made of aluminum...

Good Fast CPU Review ofIntel Core 2 Duo E6600 / 2.4 GHz processorby
tamss
Advantages: Fast and can Cope with anything I've thrown at it easily Overclockable. Disadvantages: New range of Intel CPUs are cheaper and faster
...a DVD or convert a video which would have been impossible previously on a single core CPU.
The E6600 works at 2.4GHZ out of the box but with the right Motherboard and cooling can be easily pushed past 3GHZ and with water cooling up to 4GHZ. For a Motherboard for overclocking i would recommend the Asus P5B series and for cooling the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro is a great and cheap choice.
With a Arctic Freezer 7 Pro I get idle temps of 35 degrees C and under full load up to 45 degrees C
This is probably this CPUs weakest aspect as the recently released range of Core 2 Duos the E6*50 range are cheaper and faster than the E6*00 range. At the moment the E6600 can be purchased for around £140 whereas the E6750 which is slightly faster can be picked up for around £120. The only downside to these new range of Intel...

Advantages: ease of use , reliable and soo quiet Disadvantages: needs better mobo spacers underneath to space from case
...I Purchased the motherboard and an xp 3500 processor, setup was easy on this motherboard. The first thing i noticed is the OTIS cooling, no fan's on the motherboard just a heat pipe that goes from the central core of the motherboard to a bay that keeps the system cool by extracting the heat through the pipe.
Very silent compared to fan systems ie northbridge fans too noisy. The audio system is realtek ac 97 chipset supporting 7.1 channel sound,
I havent tested the 7.1 but the 5.1 senses the speakers automatically through the software and configures them easily. The abit software updates the bios automatically as the board now supports the FX series chip's. On board sata and raid with a socket 939 I have 2 1gb corsair 400 1gb sticks on dual channel and this thing speeds along.
Software includes nvidia's firewall and active armour...

I bought this cooler the other day on Amazon and it arrived today, thankfully 20 minutes after my new cpu did.
The first thing that struck me was that the fan is positioned to the side of the heatsink rather than on top of it. Thus blowing hot air... more
I bought this cooler a few months back now so have had a long experiance using it, so far it has amazed me.

Whilst the original Silent Hill may have 'borrowed' heavily from survival-horror pioneer Resident Evil, it certainly upped the stakes when it came to the scares. Silent Hill was released back in 1999 and with its bizarre storyline, near-legendary... more
Super Mario 3 was originally on the NES, then SNES with updated graphics, it is now on the Gameboy Advance. This is great for all Mario fans, I loved the game when I was little and it was a must buy when I bought my Nintendo handheld console.
