...The most attractive feature about this cleaner, apart from the price, was its compact size. For an upright, it was very manouevrable - and its fold-down handle made it easy to store. It felt nice, very lightweight - really surprising, as it was relatively cheap. Great! Well, until I turned it on! The burning smell from the motor was worrying, as was the fact that it pulled so hard at my carpet that it actually took some of the rubber off the back of it! The variable height adjustment function didn't make a difference on the carpet - the suction was just too much! The hard-floor setting didn't have enough suction - very strange!! Ok - its from the Value Range, but even so!!! For £39.99 I did expect more than I got! Argos customer services very helpful, though and full refund received.... Read review
