Since I wrote this review I have had a change of heart. I have had nothing but problems with them and they never sort it out. I have to keep phoning them and sending them e-mails and when they do respond they still get it wrong or don't rectify the problem.
A poor lady in a store this morning got a right mouthfull from me. I am normally calm and don't let things get to me. But I have never had a smooth service with them since I wrote this and it is getting beyond a joke now.
The sorts of problems I have had are charging me for items I did not order, sending my items to the wrong store for collection, not refunding me for returned items even though it has already been authorised and having the cheek to charge me again for a returned item.
I have had to keep a close eye on my statements just to make sure.
I checked my statement this month and she has only refunded me £66.95 and not £76.95 as we agreed on the phone so I have to yet make another call or send an e-mail to tell them to sort it out.
I am sick and tired of contacting them to sort out their mess. It is a joke.
They have got so bad that I am not even going to shop with them. Life is stressful enough without being taken for a ride and having to pay money to a company you don't even owe and instead having to pay them more for their mistakes.
They might be cheaper but the service stinks.
I'd be aware now of buying from them because you maight not have the time to closely follow through your statements and you maybe paying them more for your goods than you should be. Also you may have them delivered to an incorrect store. This has happened to 3 of my orders now.
The services stink.

Unlike all other catalogues Argos Additions does not have a commission or cash back scheme but the service is spot on. To me service is every thing. With out that then I tend to steer clear. I have found the service with Argos Additions the best in the world. I have only ever had to contact them twice and both times they have answered the phone quickly, politely and have dealt with my query then and there.
With the other catalogues I have used. I often find I have to wait quite a while for my goods to be delivered. I find the couriers rude and leaving my goods outside my door, clearly and easily so someone can pinch it and generally just not too keen on the service from them. I am a member with Kay’s, Freeman’s, Littlewoods Extra and Great Universal. All these catalogues stock similar items, apart from Freeman and charge double the price for their clothing. Well that’s probably a bit of an exaggeration there, but they charge more and I am not prepared to give more of my hard earned cash to some business when I can get exactly the same item somewhere else for about 5 pounds less.
Argos Additions is great because you have a choice of delivery addresses. You can have it delivered to your home or an alternative address for £2.95 or your local Argos store for free.
You also have a wide choice of payment methods. You can pay by any major credit or debit card, including solo and electron, by your Argos store card and if you spend over £195, which I often do in one go as I tend to order in bulk, you get 6 months interest free or you can put it on your Additions direct account and it is all interest free for 3 months. The choice is yours.
You are also able to view your account on line and track your orders on their website, which is great if you are waiting for something. They send you an e-mail to confirm your order and also to advise you of the delivery date. You can check statements and make payments too. It is all available to you 24/7.
The customer services line is great too. It is a 24 hour line and you never have to wait that long to speak to someone. As I have found everything ok I have rarely had the need to call them. I have called them twice in a year and each time they have been quick, efficient and know what they are talking about. They get top marks in my view.
They do pages and pages of fashions from the following: - jumpers, cardigans, skirts, tops, jeans, trousers, dresses, t shirts, night wear, swim wear and lingerie. You are certainly not spoilt for choice. There is so much to choose from I find it hard to resist.
They stock in sizes 8-18 mostly but also in some styles of items go up to a 26, so really there is something for everyone. They also do a petit and tall range and a maternity range.
I find their prices are extremely reasonable the quality of the clothes to be just as good as any other retailer.
Since being a member of Argos Additions I have purchased so many clothes from them. My wardrobe is overflowing. They stock such a choice that it is hard for me to order a small amount. Often when I flick through a catalogue I see things I like and think would look good on me so I check the size. More often than not they are in my size and I order them.
I will give some examples I have recently purchased a black v neck cardigan £10, pack of 2 cropped trousers £17, pack of three halter neck tops £12, gypsy top £7, cropped printed trousers £12, pack of two tops £12.
Most of their stock ranges from about £7 - £25. I have only purchased items with in this price range and the most expensive at £25 was a black evening dress. So it really shows that their prices are great.
Ever heard the saying cheapest is not always the best? Well I disagree with that. All the clothes I purchased, apart from 1 item have worn well and washed well. They have all kept their colour and shape over time and I often get through 1 out fit a day, especially tops.
There is only one item I had a problem with and this was really easy to sort out as their customer services were great. I purchased a black duffle cardigan at £17 and when I came to do my laundry I put it in the machine and washed it. When the load had finished I went to take it out and it had got ripped in the wash. I wore in nearly everyday and was rather disappointed.
I decided to purchase another one and I followed all the instructions on the label and it was fine to go in the machine so I put it in again. I had thrown away the dispatch note as I knew I was keeping the item and blow me there was a hole in it again when the wash had finished. I was worrying that there was nothing I could do and it was going to be hassle trying to contact them.
When I called them I chose the relevant option and was told all operators are busy and they estimate I will be in a queue for 6 minutes. This was not the case. I got through in about 2 minutes, which was great. I hate hanging on the line to speak to someone. I asked the operator if I could return it due to the problem. I explained that I didn't have my dispatch note anymore and she said it shouldn't be a problem and would pass me through to one of her colleagues who could assist me. When she answered the phone she used my name and said her name too. And the previous operator also used my name and told me hers. The second lady also told me her team number and said if I had any problems I could call her. She was really nice. She said it wasn't a problem and would get a dispatch note sent out to me and a returns form and I just need to put a covering letter in with it and I will get my refund.
All round I have been extremely satisfied with them and in the future I am only going to use them. Kays and Great Universal stock some of the same Items and charge twice as much. Even though you get cash back with those companies it is still not worth it in my opinion. Service beats them all. And you have all those other extras like choice of delivery address, payment methods and 24 hour access to your orders.
Well thanks for the read and I recommend this catalogue to every one of all ages and sizes and styles. They stock everything and it is cheap.

...the sale items on the Argos Additions website, I dont have a hangover so why dont I combine the two? So here it is, Emma's first op of the New Year.
Happy New Year everyone.
I'm sure we are all familiar with Argos, those massive queues every Christmas, then the waiting of the products to actually come from the warehouse, passed over to us by harrassed 17yr old students who would rather the government gave them a grant than have to be subjected ... ...Anyway last year Argos decided to expand their empire by offering clothes, but thankfully decided to keep them out of the stores by launching the Argos Additions catalogue, full of mens, womens and kids clothes but also home furnishing and some nursery things as well. So you get the catalogue from the store, take it home and then purchase the products via phone or using the forms in the catalogue OR as I joyfully found out, through their website!

...here's my opinion of the Argos additions home shopping catlogue.
I have been shopping with Argos additions catalogue for about two and a half years now and havn't yet had one problem with them.

Advantages: cheap and cheerful Disadvantages: quality of clothing
...I never even realised that Argos even sold clothes until late last year when I went in to buy some bath toys for my son and I saw the catalogue. I'm not sure if you have heard of the catalogue Marshall Ward, they usually have these leaflets when you buy newspapers. The clothing in there are exactly the same as you would find in Argos Additions but Argos do them much cheaper. You know they are the same because even the picture of the model is exactly ... ...it is the same as Argos itself then they are generally quite good and you can specify the date and time.
I am generally quite satisfied with buying clothes from here but there has been a few occassions that the children's clothing tends to be quite thin and flimsy but saying that, they last for a good few months so considering the price is so cheap and children grow out of their clothing so quickly, thats not really a problem unless you plan on ...

Advantages: Cheap goods Disadvantages: Account credit cards are not always what people want
Do you have an Argosadditionscatalogue? I do..and quite honestly its very good value for money. Unfortunately, Argos have now decided to implement a new account system.
I decided to order some trousers, just on a whim, like you do. I rang the order line, to be asked for "a nine digit card number". To which i replied, i dont have a card, i have a statement every month.
"oh" replied the slightly annoyed telephone assistant.
He then continued to process my order and confirmed the delivery date.
But, he then announced the system would not let him process the order as they have changed the account system to cards. He explained that the card could be used in the Argos stores and via the catalogue and that all orders must be processed in this way.
It sounded like a credit card, a set spending limit, spending power in ...

Advantages: Shop at home for a range of goods Disadvantages: Out of town shops unless your buying big items delivered free
way there! There is also an in store checker, so if you happen to be in the store to save going to the till you can punch in the numbers and it will say if the item is in stock! There are many other features I have yet to try.
I have had no problems with argos, items can be returned easily. The only down side is that there is not one close to me!
There is also an argosadditionscatalogue that does clothes to, this is probably useful for some people, although I prefer to buy clothes from clothes shops where I can try them on.
This is all true of the Argos in Newport and Cardiff bay where I have been! Hope it helps! ...

Advantages: Free postage to return it to them. Disadvantages: Too many to list, see text.
When I first received Choice through my door, I thought that it was just a wonderful catalogue with really beautiful pieces of clothing, which it is. When I looked at the prices, I thought that they were a little steep, but thinking that I would only be able to get such lovely things through mail order, I sent in an order for 7 items, the total coming to £147.
This was 5 weeks ago. They told me that the delivery would be 48 hours over the phone - After two weeks they hadn't arrived. Following ringing them we were informed that they were out of stock - that was OK with me, I guess it happens everywhere, so I decided to wait. While in town the a few days later, I picked up the new ArgosAdditionscatalogue, and settled down with a cup of tea to browse through to see if there was anything nice. Imagine my surprise to see the same clothes ...
