I used to work at Argos in Botley three years ago with two of my best mates.We all worked on a Sunday because we were given time and a half which worked out at about £50 for 6 hours work. My two mates worked on the jewellery counter and I worked on the tills. I think that this had to be one of the easiest jobs I have ever done. I would like to make an apology to all readers who read my pervious review on Argos as an employer. It was written right in the middle of our busy period and in a little store like the one i work in that is BUSY! In my experience every self assembly item supplied by Argos come with limited instructions that can not be understood and there is no point of contact for assistance. Their customer services staff try to be helpful, but are unable to assist, because all the items are packed abroad and there are no supplier details. Surely customeres deserve more support when purchasing products that dont do what they say on the tin. I purchased ,the folding tidy rail; item 875/2329 today it is yet anothere item that comes with instructions that make no sense. I wish I had taken more notice of the reviews ... more
