Advantages: A gripping storyline, great characters you can relate to. Disadvantages: Too short.
...This book is the first by writer Joshilyn Jackson, a former actress and teacher from the deep south. With one fellow writer calling it 'A knock-out first novel full of astonishing surprises.' And I would have to agree this book is definitely a must read.
After reading about this book on a literary website in a list of 100 books to read, I felt I should check it out. Taken in first by the cover shot that shows a girl driving through country in a droptop car with her dark hair whipping behind her, then hooked by the main backpage headline….
