Advantages: Short articles means the book can be picked up at any time. Disadvantages: None whatsoever
...From the man behind some of the greatest comedy moments of the 1990s - On The Hour, Knowing Me Knowing You, I'm Alan Partridge - 'Facts and Fancies' by ArmandoIannucci is a collection of short articles some of which were originally published in The Guardian, and the rest of which are exclusive to the book. The book is a head spinning collection of thoughts and investigations in to all manner of subjects, from opera and rock lyrics to Christmas and Rugby Union (and even the art of book reviewing).
The book is a fantastic read, in turns silly, frustrating, intriguing and downright funny. You'll certainly learn a thing or two on the way. An essential part of any self respecting comedy connoisseur’s collection....
