What Does It Smell Like?
Acqua Di Gio is quite a light and fresh fragrance. It is slightly feminine but still has a masculine hint, enough to make sure you don’t smell too girly!
It is fairly strong which I like because it means you need to use less and it lasts longer. It is also very distinctive; I haven’t found another aftershave that even smells similar! It smells slightly citrusy but also has some woody bottom notes which ... more
I am getting quite a collection of aftershaves now so I will be reviewing one that was bought for me as a present for Christmas and it has become one of my favourites – Aqcua di Gio by Georgio Armani.

It smells slightly citrusy but also has some woody bottom notes which make a lovely combination.
Does It Last? This aftershave has a long lasting smell which can still be smelt at the end of a long hard day at work and it also lasts very well on nights out in smoking pubs! I only spray about two squirts on myself in the morning and this easily lasts all day.
Summary I would recommend this aftershave because although it is not one of the cheapest out there, it lasts a long time and smells great! I also like the fact that the bottle is see through so you can always tell how much you have left. A small downside is that the lid is a ‘pop on, pop off’ lid which means its not very good for taking on holiday as the lid can pop off and it’ll end up leaking.
Advantages: Unique smell, Good for occasions, Longlivity Disadvantages: Not fresh enough, Not one that can be worn everywhere

Considering that this is made my Giogio Armani and also considering that Armani is something that I really do like, I was expecting great things from this one. Maybe I was expecting too much. Acqua De Gio is almost the opposite of Armani and it was more like an anti-climax when I first used it. My expectations were extremely high, so my judgement may have been unfairly affected. Acqua De Gio smells very much, initially ...

Advantages: Light, Fresh, Different Disadvantages: None
This is undoubtedly one of my favourite after shaves.
It is light, fresh and very different from the usual musky aftershaves for men. Plus it smells expensive!
It is a light citrussy fragrance with rounded musky/woody undertones which make it good for nights out, but essentially this is a day time fragrance, much like the new Armania Mania.
Where this differs from Mania is that it is a slightly more mature fragrance, where as Mania is for the ... ...this is for the young (and young at heart) professional - suitable for business meetings, as well as a night out on the town.
It is very distinctive and you do not need to wear a lot of it - it lasts exceptionally well with just a tiny splash. As a result I don't use it as an aftershave, but as an accent fragrance. Another reason I don't use it as an aftershave is that I find this, like most aftershaves, doesn't adequately moisturise my skin after ...

Advantages: Distinctive, long lasting, versatile, beautiful Disadvantages: none
One of my friends wore this exclusively for about a year, and when I recieved a bottle for Christmas, I was elated. On her, it smelled like citrus, on me it smells a little of cinammon and cloves, on my sister it smells like the ocean, and on my mother it smells like vanilla. These are just a few of the undertones of this wonderful perfume. It's not too sweet, but it's not as spicy as patchouli or anything, and as I illustrated, it seems to react ...

creamy coloured card box which is wrapped in your usual clear film. The box for the 50ml bottle is approximately (H)105mm x (W) 60mm x (D) 30mm. On the front of the box, it says 'ACQUADIGIO' with 'GIO' in a bigger font like on the bottle shown above. Under the name of the fragrance, it then says 'GIORGIOARMANI'.
The bottle itself is made of translucent, colourless frosted glass with a silver lid and has 'ACQUADIGIO' and 'GIORGIOARMANI' printed on. The shape of the bottle is very similar to a bar of soap stood up vertically. The lid is like your orthodox lid a nozzle protected from spraying the bottle's contents by accident by a lid rather than an ON-OFF mechanism like Bvlgari Black or LYNX cans.
The fragrance itself is colourless but has a slight greenish sort of tinge to it. Before reading what I have to say about AcquaDiGio ...
GiorgioArmani - AcquaDiGio is a wonderful scent and gives off a strong masculine scent that reminds me of the summer. It has that nice feel about it. I like to wear it in the summer months when the sun is out, as it seems to belong in this time of year but it can be used anytime anywhere.
I first came across this fragrance when one of my mates was wearing it at football. I knew of it before and I heard that it was impressive stuff, but when I smelt it I immediately thought I had to have it.
The first thing you come across is the bottle. With a slim-line rectangle shape bottle that is smoothly curved at the sides, AcquaDiGio gets top marks for its bottle. The bottle is not revolutionary but rather, fits the part. It's stylish, sleek and fits well in the hand giving it no reason not to be given top marks ergonomics wise ...
Advantages: beautiful fresh aroma that lasts for hours Disadvantages: none, this is perfect for all men
Italian style is second to none and nothing says style and sophistication like a man who takes good care of himself when grooming. This is why I always turn to my favourite aftershave, AcquadiGio by GiorgioArmani to give me that extra edge and self-confidence when I venture out into the big wide world.
Sitting within it's frosted glass bottle, the aftershave appears to try and be understated, and this is obvious when you get down to the actual ingredients and blends that sit behind this enchanting aroma that makes you feel alive, slightly feminine but with a masculine edge to set it aside from it's female counterpart, also available within the range.
The understated presentation follows through into the aftershave and when trying to describe it, the first thought is that it is light and somewhat airy, like a cool crisp breeze ...
