Ok boy's want to pull tonight? Well let me give you a dead cert that will get women giving you a second glance! Noooooooooo! Do not go out without any clothes on -have you seen how cold it is? The second glances will only be women pointing and sniggering! Nope if you want to get a second glance I really do suggest you go and invest in a bottle of Acqua Di Gio pour homme. This is basically a female magnet or as I might have drunkenly described it "a most shaggable aftershave". Ok so don't take my word for it take yourself down to Boot's and give it a quick sniff.......
So you need a bit more convincing that this aftershave is going to make you a babe magnet then? With all things Armani you are talking one very classy number.
After making your investment towards being the man, women look at twice you'll find yourself with a rather nice understated box containing the fragrance that perhaps should have been mass marketed as an aphrodisiac. This box with it's simple lettering will probably go unnoticed by all your mates if you leave it in the bathroom -so your not going to have the mick taken out of you for wearing some big girls blouse perfume! The bottle again is very masculine with a frosted glass effect and simple lettering stating Acqua Di Gio plainly on it.With it's square shape and simple lid this will not get muddled up with your partner/sisters/mum's perfume if they should share the same shelf space.
Ok so you're now wanting to know exactly what it smells like aren't you? Armani marketed ADG as "A resolutely masculine fragrance born from the sea, the sun, the earth, and the breeze of a Mediterranean island." Ok now just stop panicking I'm not suggesting that you shell out your hard earnt cash on a bottle of aftershave that's going to leave you smelling like a fish stall that's been out in the midday sun. This stuff really is good with a capital G - trust me I'm a nurse....... With a blend of the following notes: Marine Notes, Mandarin, Bergamot, Neroli, Persimmon, Rosemary, Nasturtium, Jasmine, Amber, Patchouli, Citrus. You might be slightly worried that you are going to end up with an aftershave that has a very earthy, slightly ethnic shop smell to it. Thankfully the patchouli is barely noticeable.
What you will get is a fragrance that lingers very subtly, it's not like your cheaper in yer face type aftershave this screams a man with class who cares about his appearance. Ok so wearing it with your greasy overalls might not give the same effect! The notes blend into a very subtle aroma which can be described as clean, crisp, slightly woody with a soft citrus smell to it. It does tend to get better so I'm told as it mingles with the natural oils on your skin. As regards staying power it does not need replying for a good few hours so you'll be ok on that night out.
So I've sold this pulling fragrance to you have I? But your wondering just how much this bottle of wonder stuff is going to cost you aren't aren't you? Obviously any thing that is going to have women falling at your feet is not going to come cheap! Look at it as an investment.
An online search came up with the following as being the cheapest: www.strawberrynet.com Acqua Di Gio - Eau de Toilette 50mls - £20.70 and 100mls £28.30 - free postage This price compares very favourable to the £29.99 for 50mls in Boots and other High St shops.
Advantages: Smells gorgeous, will get you noticed (for good reasons), long lasting Disadvantages: Is expensive
...favourites, Acqua De Gio by Giorgio Armani.
Up until last year I had never smelt or seen this in the shops. That was the case until one night I agreed to look after my sister. My dad wandered into the room and the beautiful fragrance that is Acqua De Gio followed him. I was instantly hooked.
Acqua de Gio is a fairly new fragrance for men. I bought my bottle from the Armani shop in Manchester for £32.00 for a 50ml bottle. The actual bottle is very ... ...the ACQUA DE GIO and GIORGIO ARMANI written on the front in large black letters. The notes to ADG build this up like there is no tomorrow, stating that the fragrance is distinctly masculine in nature, with a transparent, fresh woody smell. Normally I'm not too keen on an aftershave that has a distinct woody smell, as personally I prefer the waft of light citrus. It's far easier my nose and the noses of the people who have to be around me.
Upon opening ...

...1996, Aqua Di Gio from Giorgio Armani was one of the main players in this change and quickly became one of the most popular scents of the end of the 20th century.
Apparently, Mr (Giorgio) Armani gets his inspiration for fragrances from the island of Pantelleria, located half-way between Sicily and Tunisia in the Mediterranean. Unfortunately I've never been to the island (and this is a review of an aftershave anyway!) but it's fair to say that Aqua ... ...colourless (but not quite) too. Giorgio would have you believe that it's the colour of sunlight(!) but in reality, it's the colour of whatever light you happen to be looking at it in.
The scent will probably be well know to most people. It's light, citrus top-notes are almost unmistakable , lemon, lime and mandarin are all present in force to give a lively edge to the scent. Beyond this you will find traces of fresh coriander and freesia along with ...

...and ACQUA DE GIO and GIORGIO ARMANI flashed across front and back. Actually, I quite like the design of the bottle - it's quite minimalist and not over-elaborate as some similar products can be.
THEY SAY:
"Born from the sea, the sun and the earth, and created by a man who embraces nature's contrasts as he finds harmony in them. No.
The most significant factor in deciding whether to buy (or use) a fragrance is the.....erm...fragrance. In other words, what does it smell like?

...the design house owned by Giorgio Armani back in 1995 and being marketed as a ‘resolutely masculine fragrance born from the sea, the sun, the earth and the breeze of a Mediterranean Island’ it seems to have garnered a small reputation of being the ‘young mans choice’ (this being the sales assistant who sold me my first bottles words, not mine) and though not having the huge marketing campaigns that some aftershaves and most perfumes get its definitely ... ...Product itself will be presented in a small Silvery-Grey Box, housing quite a chubby bottle that has an almost ice-effect, and as with most Aftershaves nowadays you have the choice of getting it in either a Lotion Form or a Spray, myself now I always seem to go for the Lotion, I don’t know why it just seems that the bottle that they’ve decided to package the Spray in seems to spray out a little too much each time I use it.
Onto the actual product ...

Hi. I'm going to share with you my experiences with Armani's ACQUA DI GIO today.
This fragrance came out way back in 1996 following the successes of Armani Mania (1981) and Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984). I have no hesitation in saying that Acqua Di Gio too is a success. Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men is constantly being advertised everywhere, particularly in Debenhams and Men's magazines such as Men's Fitness and Men's Health. This was a big factor ... ...millions advertising this fragrance if it was not good. Neither would Debenhams display posters of it everywhere either. I also bought my 50ml of Acqua Di Gio because of the positive reviews from word of mouth and from the Internet. I bought mine from Superdrug.
Anyway... Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men comes in a simple creamy coloured card box which is wrapped in your usual clear film. The box for the 50ml bottle is approximately (H)105mm x (W) ...
