Italian style is second to none and nothing says style and sophistication like a man who takes good care of himself when grooming. This is why I always turn to my favourite aftershave, Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani to give me that extra edge and self-confidence when I venture out into the big wide world.

Sitting within it's frosted glass bottle, the aftershave appears to try and be understated, and this is obvious when you get down to the actual ingredients and blends that sit behind this enchanting aroma that makes you feel alive, slightly feminine but with a masculine edge to set it aside from it's female counterpart, also available within the range.

The understated presentation follows through into the aftershave and when trying to describe it, the first thought is that it is light and somewhat airy, like a cool crisp breeze floating over a meadow. This fresh and slightly zingy and something of a mixed fruit bowl with an underlying citrus of lemons and oranges.

Very little of the aftershave was needed to get this wonderful assault on the sense and it remained noticeable to both me and my work mates for hours after arriving at work. Several ladies actually complimented me on the aroma and this added to the boost in self-confidence. After all, nobody likes to think that they smell really badly.

A 50ml bottle of the aftershave and 100ml of the divine body lotion/moisturiser cost only £27 and as it has lasted well over 6 months I would recommend this product as it smells wonderful, remains a lovely aroma for hours and will last despite continual use for months at a time before it needs to be refreshed.

Take a chance on Acqua di Gio and you will not be disappointed with the results.
