Armitage Good Girl Scented Cat Litter Litters

So having a pussy cat that lives mainly indoors comes with the horrible job of cleaning out the litter tray. I hate having a litter tray and I hate having to clean it out but that is part of being a good owner I guess! I have one of those litter trays that are quite tall up the sides as Prince the cat likes to kick out the litter and have a good dig. The litter liners come quite a way up the sides and actually help the litter stay in a little bit more. The biggest advantage though is that at cleaning out time, all I need to do is remove the liner and the litter comes up in a handy sack ready for disposal.

Price and availability

I buy these on my weekly shop for the local supermarket and they cost around £1.80 for a pack of 6. These last me 6 weeks so it is not too expensive really and they save so much time so they are worth it.

Description

These cat litter liners have a fresh, floral scent that fades soon after the litter is poured on to the litter. It smells like scented nappy bags, that floral talc smell that doesn’t last long but is a nice touch. The litter liners are 44 cm by 30 cm so they are designed for all standard sized trays. The bag has twist closures to keep the littler inside the bag and it makes it easier for disposal.

My experiences

The litter liners make life so much easier. When I clean out the tray all I need to do is lift the bag out and throw it away. Without the liners I have to open a bin bag and strategically tilt the tray into the bag to pour the used litter out. It smells really ammonic and irritates my nostrils so it is a painful job and there is always litter and urine soaked clumps on the floor afterwards. The litter liners speed up the process and there is minimum mess and minimum fuss. Once I have thrown one used litter bag away, all I need to do is fold out a new litter liner and position it in the litter tray, they fold out of the packaging and just need smoothing out. The bag is then ready for the litter to be poured on it. My cat is really annoying because as soon as I clean the litter tray out, he loves to go and Christen it and the nice clean box lasts for a few minutes only! I guess this means he likes the litter liners too so in that case it is thumbs up from Prince and I.
