Army of Two Strategy Guide

...Shogun: Total War is a new strategy-war game based in sixteenth century Japan. The aim of the game is simply to become shogun of all Japan. You start the game in charge of several provinces and must be growth and conquest end up controlling the whole country. The game is separated into two parts. 1) The strategy element. This involves resource management, technology advancement, diplomacy and building armies. 2) The second part is the battles. When you invade another province (or are invaded), the map switches to a 3d rendered battlefield with many hundreds of soldiers to control. The two parts of the game complement each other, and with the excellent in-game videos and speech, gives the player another world to immerse him or herself in. Advantages: Very good for devout wargamers
Disadvantages: Can take weeks to play a full game. Not a 'fun' wargame more of a challenge for beginners.

...a similar feel to them. Back in the eighties when I was an avid war gamer we used to play many different strategy games. We played many diverse games ranging from pure war games to strange sci-fi and fantasy games. Many of our favorites were war games, two in particular were played often; risk and diplomacy. Whereas Risk was seen more as a family game, Diplomacy really was designed to cater for war gamers that didn’t have enough room, or simply didn’t have the time to read complex rules and regulations. Diplomacy has simple rules but vast elements of strategy, diplomacy and backstabbing. The object is simple; conquer Europe! Diplomacy is a very complex game that tries to emulate the Second World War and the underlying diplomacy during these times. The game is based in Europe during WWII. The board game is separated... ...War is a two-egded that cuts though even the best liad plans of Orcs and Men. Warcraft is the hugely successful fantasy strategy game where you constuct and rule your own mediaevil stronghold. Play as either human or evil orcs though two dozen campaign scenarios within two seperate storylines. Command many unigue creatures, including demons, elementals, nercromancers, archers and spearmen as you attempt to conqear your enemies armies, playing agianist the computer or a friend viaa network or the internet! Rally your troops and victory will be yours. The spoils of the war are yours to claim!... Read review
