Arnold Clark has grown into one of Scotlands largest Car Dealer franchise networks.

I bought my last car from Arnold Clark on Pollokshaws Road (Vauxhall), Glasgow. They agreed to price match a similar car, through NetworkQ from another Vauxhall dealer in Scotland. Since it was going to cost me about £50 in transport, they had no need to. However, I also needed a local dealer to service my car.
Since I drive 40K miles a year I made this very clear that all servicing would be done with one dealer. Furthermore, Vauxhall were the only manufacturer to offer an "unlimited" mileage warranty, so all servicing had to be done at a Vauxhall dealer.

The car was delivered early and an inspection was permitted on the day it arrived.
On the agreed delivery day it had clearly been cleaned, although there were some marks on the inside which had not been attended to.

The car was still missing its "spare" key and security passcard. These were promised within 4 weeks.
The car was returned for a service at this point and since the key and passcard had still not been provided I refused to pay for the service. This matter was quickly resolved "due to an administration error".
A "spare" key was provided 5 days later, but it was clearly not the original. On contacting NetworkQ it was arranged for all the locks to be replaced, as the location of the original "spare" was unknown.

The Service Dept. has carried out all services from 10K miles to 100K miles and has reported on all faults that I have not advised them (I believe they should find them, even if I know of them). Buying your car allows you a further 10% of servicing and parts.
A discount can also be arranged with their Insurance division too, but they were not very competitive.

All warranty and repair work is of a good standard.

I have used all 3 of their Vauxhall dealerships in Glasgow, but I would avoid their Garscube Road dealership in future, as they misdiagnosed an MOT failure, that Pollokshawas Road had found (hence how I knew about it).
