...Appleworks 6.0 was part of the bundled software with my G4 ibook, yet despite my uncertainties is relatively easy to use. Having become used to Microsoft Word for so many years several features, such as the vast array of fonts and the uncluttered presentation, were refreshing. The menus are versatile and easy to use, and the formatting is a dream. If you hit the caps key and write for a paragraph without knowing it is an easily solvable issue, whereas in microsoft the only real answer without going into the most obscure of menus is the delete key. However, due to the lack of a grammar check, there is a distinct lack of auto-correction. The key thing I notice is that Appleworks doesn't automatically capitalise after a full stop, or capitalise "i" which can lead to excessive use of the find and replace function. Illustrator is a so-called vector drawing program and therefore designed for drawings and less for photographic images. For those of you, who are not familiar with the expression of vector-drawings: The drawing is basically described by start and end points of individual lines and not by colour dots that builds a complete picture as in pixel images. This has the advantage to be a clearer and more accurate "description" of the drawing and easier changeable in size without loss of quality. Advantages: Keeps children amused for hours
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...I recieved this software with my printer which I purchased a while ago now It is called: ~~Disney's Winnie the Pooh Interactive~~ My three year old loves it he want to play on here for hours just making things and watching winnie in action. You create your own stationary, colouring pages it's great fun and once they are in the magical world of Disney they want to stay on for hours. It has all the friends of Pooh which are: Tigger Eyore, piglet, etc... ~~~~~What can be done~~~~~~~~ Well they are plenty to do to keep the little one ammused. 1. Banners 2. Bookmarks 3. Calendars 4. Colouring Pages 5. Greeting Cards 6. Name Tags 7. Place Cards 8. Place Mats 9. and also Postcards. plus many more..........
