Advantages: SUPER GOOD LOOKS. Disadvantages: BIT THIRSTY.
...Ive owned many 600 superbikes over the last few years but i think that you will have to go a long way to beat the zx6-r j1/j2 models.
i would agree that the kawasaki's are not every ones cup of tea but having grown up riding ar50's then stepping up to ar125's then when i was old enough going up a stage went onto a zzr400 this was a very good comfortable bike but being a 400 lacked power.
thats when i decided to go crazy and go for a 600, there is many models, manafacturers out there and tell you the truth they all looked good, but being a kawasaki man got drawn between a zx6-r or a honda cbr600rr. I chose a Y reg 2001 j1 model with 6500 miles on the clock 1 previous owner (which was a sales executive from a local kawasaki dealers) so its been well looked after. the basic guidelines on prices are for a 1998/2001 model in a1 cond £3500...

Advantages: superb looks, excellent engine, comfotable, handles great top allrounder Disadvantages: none
...I've owned my ZX6R now for 3 years, and i never get tired of riding it, it's a 1997 f3 model. From the very first moment I rode it i felt at home. It's what I would call user friendly, because of how comfortable it is you can enjoy cruising around feeling relaxed taking in the countryside but on the other hand if you like the thrill of riding like Rossi in a grand prix just open up the throttle and boy this bike kicks.
Not only is this bike comfortable it also handles very well too, i find it takes little effort to make this bike flow around bends as if its on rails.
The engine is apparently one of the most powerful 600's in it's class and with the newer models the engine has changed to a 636cc model which is even more powerful. Kawasaki are known for making very powerful long lasting engines, definitely a big plus in my...

Advantages: excellent torque and performance and excellent chassis Disadvantages: riding position can be a strain after a fir bit of miles on a trip
...I have owned my 636 since it first came out.
I have found the sharp response of the chassis when cornering to be close to perfect. I have ridden an R6 and also ridden with R6's on rideouts and I would say the 636 (2003 model to present) has the edge on corners. I would say the R6 wins on comfort (easier forgiving seat) and also riding position. I did feel the strain after around 70 - 100 miles on the bike on some trips. That however is due to the race nature of the bike. The riding position is one of which was designed more for a racetrack.
I have many good rideouts on my 6r and find that when I let a rideout 'friend' take the bike for a spin; they always come back with a smiling face and praise the bike then-on.
I have attached a 'slip-on' Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust on it now and the sound is one which will make you...

The Wahl Powerpik is great for my hair. I have long thick afro hair (enough hair for three people many hairdressers have told me!) The hairdryer’s output is 1250 watt which is powerful enough to dry my hair quickly.

I've no idea who the guy is on the front of the picture of the box and had no idea that it was endorsed by this james man because ours came without a box. And the best part was it only cost a fiver - you've really got to love garage sales. My friend was... more
