Arrow Exhaust Suzuki SV 650/650S

Advantages: Brilliant first / budget bike, sporty all rounder, mid-range grunt, cheap
Disadvantages: Budget suspension, budget feel

...I passed my Direct Access test in 2002, and was looking for a newbie friendly bike to get some miles under my belt, and do the commuting to work. Having no prior experience, I needed a user friendly bike with a bit of poke to keep me interested. The logical choice was the Suzuki SV650. Dubbed by RiDE magazine as the best first bike ever, and lauded by many other mags as a great budget bike, I had to find out more. The bike is light 170kg, has 70bhp, and a good spread of torque from low down. It comes as a naked bike the SV650 and a half faired 's' version. These differ slightly in foot peg and handlebar positioning, the former having normal bars, the latter clip-ons and rear set pegs. Both have good ground clearance. Advantages: Fast and Furious meets MR smoothie

...I own a 2002 SV650s and i must say that the bike cant be praised enough in my opion. The SV650 is the new kid on the block and you wont go far wrong if you buy one.The SV650 is fast becoming one of the best middleweight bikes around and deservedly so. With the V at an angle of 90 degrees there is plenty of torque on tap and plenty of acceleration when required. The SV650 produces about 70BHP at the back wheel at it lays it on the tarmac with greatest of ease.The best part of the range is from 3rd gear thru to 5 th gear when you can really feel the bike getting the power down and hear the roar of the exhaust at full bore. The SV650 weighs 165kg(363lbs)so it is fairly light compared to other bikes in its class.The ground clearance is 140mm(5.5in)so you REALLY can get your knee down if you want. Advantages: Looks good, sounds good, cheap to buy.
Disadvantages: Makes a 50cc bike illegal at 16 just like any other exhaust.

...I have an Aprilia RX50 racing, 2006. I have an arrow exhaust on it. it was already on there when i baught it, but the standard exhaust restricted it to 25 mph, but the full arrow exhaust kit makes it go to 55 to 60 mph. It looks alot better than the standard exhaust. They are easy to get hold of if you want one. For a full arrow exhaust system usually costs around £185. Arrow make many exhausts for many different bikes. When mine had the standard exhaust on it sound like a broken hair dryer like a standard moped, but now it sounds like a 125 cc motocross bike. I learnt how to ride it in 15 minutes, that was the first time i have ever ridden a geared motorbike. Even my dad loves it and he has a Yamaha R1 which is 20 x more powerful.
