If you liked the 1995 Pride and Prejudice, this is for you
Advantages: Plenty of illustrations, outlines filming from start to finish Disadvantages: Written to interest a fairly specific audience
...is going to be in the strictest terms (I'm so much of a die-hard fan of this miniseries that part of the reason I bought the DVD was that I'd virtually played my double video to the point of no return) but I'll do my best. This book must have been published quite soon after the 1995 miniseries - I date my books and my copy has March 1996 written on the inside - so I'm not sure if it's still in print. It was about £9.99 when new and a paperback, so ... ...BBC copywrite issues or simply the fact that the miniseries was five hours long, I don't know - so please don't expect this feature if you're buying the book, it's just not there. The content is divided into an "in the beginning" type of introduction explaining the genesis of the miniseries and then chapters on location, music and dancing, costume, interior design, casting, the filming experience, post-production and even a fairly lengthy interview ...

The best Bio ever!
Advantages: Brilliant Book Disadvantages: Too Short should be a second one
I read Alan Carr's Bio when i ws on holiday a few weeks ago and throughout the book I could not stop laughing. I would recommend it to anyone who loves comedy and Alan Carr, even if you do not like him you will feel for him and will see you share the same experiences.
When you read the book, it is like you are listening to him talking to you. He tells every bit of detail about his life, whether its funny, sad or embrassing etc. He shares detail ...

The way she tells Her Story
Advantages: emotional, great length, pics Disadvantages: Can be pricey at full
From the age of seven, I have had a growing ambition to become a TV Presenter. It's something that has been a part of my life for so long now, that it seems only natural. So it goes without saying that I idolise a fair few TV Presenters themselves! I have a select few of these idols which mean the most to me, and one of them is Fern Britton.
Fern Britton is a British TV Presenter, born in 1957. She presents various shows from time to time, including ... ...she is best known for co-presenting This Morning, which she has been doing so since 1999, alongside Phil Schofield. This is as we know her now, but what was Fern's life like before she came into our view? Now we can explore her life in her autobiography, 'Fern: My Story'.
My Story was released back in November 2008, and I did plan on buying it, but didn't manage to get round to it. Thankfully though, my friend bought me a copy for Christmas, which ...

are we there yet?...this takes us there!
Advantages: Informative and fun Disadvantages: Maybe too much text for younger readers
...really fun book, one of the features I really enjoyed was essays that were included throughout the guide which gives views on Springfield through the eyes of the resident’s of Springfield. The use of the colours and layout of the book really give it an attractive design for the reader. It is good going through the book and seeing what places you have spotted in the episodes from watching them and having a bit more background information. It came ...
