...buying nappies in my local Asda store, I saw that 'George' produced baby wipes, so I bought a pack to try.
PRODUCT
The wipes that I bought were George Baby Cotton Soft Fragrance Free baby wipes. There are 80 wipes in a pack and they cost £1.24, although they do occasionally have a special offer of two packs for £2. They also sell them in a pack of four for £3.84.
As you can imagine at a price of £1.24 for a pack of 80 they are less than half the ... ...I found that with the Asda wipes the lid meant that each wipe was moist enough to use. This meant that not only was I saving money because they were half the price, I was also saving because I didn't have to throw any away.
TRYING THE PRODUCT
I pull out a wipe and have a look at it. Even though they are cheaper than other wipes, they are still the same size.
I find them very moist and they feel very soft indeed. They are also quite strong. It ...

Advantages: Soft, good size, cheap, a good quality wipe, great for all the family to freshen up with Disadvantages: Don’t dispense one at a time, not easy to grab, plastic lid sometimes doesnt clip shut

~~ What I don't enjoy ~~
A downside to the George Baby wipes is the fact the wipes at the bottom of the pack are soaking wet! Too wet in my opinion. So how wet can they be? Extremely so! After cleaning Christopher’s bottom with a wipe from here I had to dab his skin dry. That is how wet these wipes can be! I don't know about you, but I do not wish to put ... ...Every now and then I have a little trouble pulling them out of the pack. I am sure most parents will agree when I say it can be very challenging to pull individual wipes out of the pack with one hand while holding your son/daughter down with the other, regardless of the brand of wipes you are using. This is so true with the George Wipes. On most occasions I have to search for the edge of the wipe with my fingernail, try to grasp it and pull it up, ...

*** ASDA little angels fragrance free baby wipes ***
Packaging...
The wipes come in a plastic white packet, with a hard plastic 'lid' on top. The lid is easy to open which is always good if you have nappy's to change, just clicks open and shut and easy enough to flip open one-handed when you get the hang of it.
The lid functions well and stays shut to stop wipes drying out. On opening there is a peel-off security seal sticker remove ... ...than some packs which just have a resealable plastic sticky tab - which usually loses its stickiness and your wipes dry out. The Wipes...
Even though these wipes are cheaper they are still decent quality, OK they may not have pictures on them and they're not really 'quilted' type thick like some more expensive brands but they are standard 'wipe' size and a fair use-able thickness. They are soft and strong and moist enough to do whatever ...

...younger sister out shopping to asda for some baby wipes, and trying to be helpful and save me some money, as babies can be quite expensive, she came back with a bag of asda little angels cotton soft baby wipes.
*PACKAGING*
There were 8 packets in the bag each containing 80 wipes for the price of £7, so each one worked out at roughly 88p, which is quite cheap for baby wipes compared to some well known brands. I weren't too keen on them on sight ... ...I didn't have the heart to send her back to exchange them for different wipes.
They come in a pink packet with a picture of a little cartoon child on it and some white feathers along with the words soft as a feather. There is a white resealable plastic lid on the pack which is useful as this will stop the wipes from drying out. They are dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic which is always good. The packaging states that they are soft and thick ...

Asda has a number of wipes on offer, and I've tried most of them.
The big value saver packs certainly are cheap - I've bought 3x80 wipe packs for £4.99 - and they're in the dark blue wrapper. They do, however, have a tendency to be on the thin side and rip easily. A bit messy if clearing off mucky hands and tragic if wiping a dirty bottom. They can also be difficult to remove from the pack one-at-a-time, as getting hold of the wipe can sometimes ... ...slightly more costly range in the pale green wrapping are a little more strong, and these also come in 'Unfragranced' which is particularly handy if the baby has developed a nappy rash, when the skin is overly senstive to some perfumes. These too have been available in the big saver offers.
I'm currently now at the Toddler stage of wipes (well, not me personally, but my 3 year old) in the bright orange wrapping. These are very tough and gentle enough ...
