“Just as good as other brands”

published 18/12/2013

Very good at cleaning, just as good as others

not quite as thick as others

The Mrs loves having a good clean and recently she's been going a bit mad getting the house all clean and ready for Christmas. We usually buy Domestos Bleach why? I'm not sure, maybe because it's a well known brand we feel like it must be the best but whilst I was shopping in Asdas I noticed that...

Everything!

None for me and my home at all

In my home I get through a lot of bleach on a weekly basis. Its something that I grew up observing my mum using ever such a lot of at home. The other day whilst me and my boyfriend were mooching about for some bits and pieces in my local Asda store I spotted this on offer. I could either get one...

Not for me

Cheap

Smells nothing like a pine forest, poor results

I've recently used some of ASDAs own brand bleach, the thick bleach - forest pine variety. They also produce a lemon one and the original (whatever that smells of). It costs 54p for a 750ml bottle, which is slightly cheaper than other supermarket own brands. I don't normally shop in asda, so...

the smell is not what is expected by the title

I always use Asda own brand when available. Their bleach is equal in performance to the more expensive brand names. I do think that the title for the different 'perfumes' is misleading, and would prefer them to stick to only one or two fragrances, or just the general smell we all come to...

“Smartprice bleach”

published 14/03/2004

cheap & simple

Ineffective - i'd say a waste of money

I bought this bleach on an unexpected trip to asda, mainly becuase of the price - i think it was about 35p per bottle. I didn't expect great results - i never really do from budget products, but i thought i'd give it a go. I used it in the toilet, on floors and to remove a stain from a white top...

Good

Clear, definately a bleach, doesnt break the bank

Overpowering bleahc smell, virtually no fragrance ...

I have recently started to use this bleach instead of another supermarket's own brand one for which I was very happy with, but did not get the same satisfaction from using Asda's own bleach. Although it is indeed merely 66p for a 350ml bottle of bleach, you could stumble upon much better cheap...

Works, cheap

none

I recently went to buy bleach at Asda and for a change bought their own brand make. Usually I get domestos. The bleach cost 66p for 750ml, which is about 30p less than domestos. I bought the Apple version, which is a green bottle. The bottle is very simple with a boring label. It has an angled...

“Cheap and affective”

cheap and multi purpose

none

Asda Bleach I a bargain for 33p and it does the job well. I had a white T shirts that got stained and I soaked it in Bleach not expecting much and it turned out really white. We use bleach all around the house, especially cleaning the garden and the gutters. But, you can use it inside as well to...

not very cheerful!

I bought this bleach to try it & compare it to others. The price is good, although i was dubious about the quality at the time. The bottle is the most simple design, probably to save costs and so we (the consumer) can save a few extra pennies. When i had it i tried to hide it away, it really...

Well I'm going to sound like an advert now, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to think of ninety words on bleach, but Asda thick lime bleach is really good. It keeps the toilet really clean and even cleans away the nasty limescale. It keeps the bath and tiles sparkling and gets rid of all of that...
