I have recently started to use this bleach instead of another supermarket's own brand one for which I was very happy with, but did not get the same satisfaction from using Asda's own bleach.

Although it is indeed merely 66p for a 350ml bottle of bleach, you could stumble upon much better cheap bleach.

It comes in a variety of fragrances, from the more common Pine and Lemon etc to varied others such as the Apple bleach I chose. I like the smell of any apple products generally, but couldn't actually smell apples myself whilst using it. I msut not have a very good imagination, as all I could smell when I applied it and after, was an overwhelming chokeable bleach smell. I once used the Lemon one too and the same applied. I could smell about 5% lemon but really strong bleach.

In application, it is easy due to the shape of the bottle neck, to aim it in areas of the bowl you would want it. It does appear to be rather thick as you pour but it seems to have no clinging abilities to the bowl despite this fact. The bleach mainly seemed to fall to the bottom so I had to put a double layer on so to speak.

My partner curses if I use this stuff whilst he is in. He cant stand the smell. It really is overpowering and the fact you have to use lots won't help. It wouldnt shift much limescale, and hasnt on my bowls it seems.

You will still need to scrub troublesome areas too, so doesnt save a s much time as others might. It is worth paying a little bit more really, but is ok if you dont mind it isn't the wonder bleach of the century.

The best thing was that it was clear and didn't leave bleach marking like the coloured ones do. I spilt a bit on my carpet, which surprise, surprise bleached a little, but on my hands it wasn't irritating.
