Asda Blue Charge - 1 litre bottle

This is a high impact stimulation drink, which contains taurine and it is carbonated fruit flavoured with added caffeine and vitamins. It is basically a supermarket version of the well known Redbull. It is in my opinion a very tasty drink. Normally and preferred on its own but I have tried it with vodka which makes the vodka easier to drink but does make you get drunk quicker. I find this drink's texture like any other fizzy drink but a little bit thicker and not as tinkerly when going down the throat. I could not say what flavour I am tasting but when I saw that it contains apple flavouring, then I realise it does have a hint of it.

The 1 litre costed 89p (13/01/2009) from Adsa obviously. But I got the special offer, which was buy 3 for £2.50. Saved 17p only but its still a saving as I am going to drink all three bottles.

There are no artificial colours or flavours and it is suitable for vegetarians. This is a good thing for somepeople but does not really bother me.

It is recommended to be keep refrigerated and used within 3 days of opening.

The drink comes in a simple bottle of silver and blue with a little picture of a rhino. Keeping the bottle design simple in my opinion is good because this mean its cheaper to make and cheaper for us to buy. On the label, it contains a list of the ingredients, which is:

Carbonated water
Sugar
Glucose-Fructose syrup
Citric acid
Taurine
Glucuronolactone
Acidity regulator (Sodium Citrates)
Natural Flavourings
Fruit and vegetable exacts (Apple, Hibiscus)
Cafferine
Inositol
Vitamins (Niacin, pantonthenic acid, B6, riboflavin, B12)
Preservative (Potassium Sorbate).

I do not think there is much else to say, but if you have any questions or suggest then please message me.

Also, I would recommend this drink.
