...chunky potato wedges (from the Asda Fresh range, naturally!) and salad. The packet also has a wine tip (a rich white with a subtle nutty taste, such as Cronswick Marsanne, in case you’re interested).
Personally, I served this with rice and sweetcorn, and it went very well; the rice is great with this kind of sauce, and it’s healthier than potato wedges.

This passed the ‘main test’ for food ... ...I would answer yes, but to be honest, I won’t be rushing out to buy this again – only because I’d much prefer to cook something similar from scratch. The list of ingredients and my own ‘expertise’ (ahem) tells me this shouldn’t be too difficult. However, for convenience, this might find it’s way into my freezer from time to time.
