Advantages: delicious, chewy sponge, sweet icing, image of David :P Disadvantages: tough icing, dyes fingers
With a birthday, more often than not you'll find a cake on the go! My sixteenth was no different! Now, what sort of cake do you get a teen? Something smothered in chocolate? A mature and sophisticated creamed cake? Not I! Of course, I was unaware of what cake I was going to get; that was down to my Dad, but I was thrilled when I was presented with the Doctor Who Tardis cake (oh, real mature!).
I don't like candles, so my Dad walked through in the ... ...lit up as I spied the gorgeous picture of David Tennant (10th Doctor) peering out of the Tardis door at me (for those who do not care for Doctor Who, a Tardis is the big blue box that is bigger on the inside that the out, which travels through time and space!). The rectangular cake was covered in icing, mainly blue apart from the photo on the top. It certainly did look incredibly sweet and scrumptious!
