Advantages: Tastes great, low in calories Disadvantages: A bit on the expensive side
...Yoplait Petits Filous miniature pots of fromagefrais just got bigger!
I have just been shopping to Asda and found, as well as the usual packs of 12 x 60g pots, they also had packs of 6 x 100g pots too.
The packs of the small pots cost about £2 and contain 2 each of the following flavours: Apricot, Raspberry, Strawberry, Strawberry and Vanilla, Peach and Strawberry and Blackberry and Raspberry.
But I bought the pack of six larger pots costing £1.48 and just containing 3 each of the Strawberry and Raspberry flavours.
I bought the fromagefrais as an alternative to cream for the fresh strawberries that I had also bought. I have been told this morning that I am a diabetic and have got to watch the sugar in my diet and also loose some weight.
Instead of cutting out the things I like and making myself miserable into the bargain, I have...

Advantages: tasteful, low calorie, good size Disadvantages: Aspartame
...Being both a huge fan of yoghurt, and having shared my time with scrumptious pots of Weight Watchers yoghurts, I decided it was time to sample the Weight Watchers FromageFrais. These come in two pack options: Summer Fruits and Berry Fruits. At the time of purchase, they were on a '2 for £2' deal at Asda, which was fantastic as they were usually £1.97 a pack! This was an offer I simply could not refuse to take advantage of, and added both to my shopping trolley!
The Berry Fruits option has six pots of yoghurt, in four exciting flavours2 x blackberry, 2 x forest fruits, 1 x raspberry and 1 x cherry. Each one looked delicious, and I couldn't wait to try them!
Each yoghurt has a vanilla layer on the top; a very smooth and thick, creamy fromagefrais with a distinctive plain taste, more of a natural yoghurt than a vanilla! It doesn't taste...

...I am always very careful about what I give my son to eat, and have been very wary of jars and packets of baby food while he has been being weaned. Up until recently I was pureeing fruit and adding it to natural yoghurt and that has been his "pudding" or snack during the day.
While browsing round Sainsburys a few weeks back I noticed these Muller Little Stars products, they do smooth yoghurt, fromagefrais and fruit juice jellies. I decided to give the fromagefrais a try as they are a bit different to what my son has had before and I am very keen on him trying new things.
The price was very good as there was a special offer - buy 2 packs of 6 pots (60g each) for £2, but they are usually about £1.50 for 6.
The fromagefrais that I brought had 3 different flavours (2 pots of each) Strawberry, Raspberry and Peach.
They are advertised...
