Asda Iced Fingers

As per usual, one day last week, I was found roaming around Asda (again!?) looking out for anything that could tempt me. As soon as I hit the bread and bakery aisle something caught my eye and I rushed back to through into our trolley. (I didn't actually throw these in as the damage would have been fatal). I remember iced buns from when I was very little. I used to devour 3 or 4 in sitting, totally oblivious to the calorie and sugar content it had contained. I only ended up writing a review because of SweetTooth 93's brilliant review on Ciao, who nailed these little beauties perfectly. Asda's Iced Fingers are a great value, old fashioned and sweetly traditional type of pastry. You wouldn't think a white bread bun topped with plain soft fondant icing would be that special: but they are. I like these with a cup of black coffee.I think the cals are 154 per finger and 3.4g fat. So for an adult watching their weight, you don't want to scoff these regularly.
