Anyway, I fancied something cheap and cheerful and lo and behold I come across these little doughnuts (or donuts as they americanise them). *THE PACKAGING*
They come in packs of two in a handy little paper bag that’s folded over at the top and ... ...‘2 donuts’, along with the Asda logo. (See picture)
*THE TASTING*
The doughnuts are available in several flavours; toffee, apple, chocolate, custard and jam that I can remember. I decided to be sickly sweet and go for the toffee flavour.
When you rip along the pricing label you unfold the top and are greeted by the wonderful aroma of toffee. If you are not in the mood for something sweet, this will be a turn-off straight away as the mixture of ...

Advantages: Cold creamy custard, delicious mouth watering flavours. Disadvantages: Perhaps..fatty and very high in calories
Now as you probably notice i am very fond of chocolate and anything sweet. Luckily i dont seem to put any weight on (yet..im sure it will catch up with me one day)...so i often find myself chomping away and thinking hey im not even hungry.. often find myself thinking, hey why the hell am i eating this?
Anyway in Asdas this morning, yes it was only half past ten but still. We had been trailing around for half an hour and me and my brothers were beggining ... ...quit complaining we could get something from the bakery section. That shut me up. Bicuits are my preference for my mid morning cuppa, except when Saturday comes around. Saturday is shopping day and that means usually a trip to Morrison's or ASDA's. if I'm unlucky it's morrisons and the biscuits remain priority, but should it be ASDA's then my Saturday morning cuppa takes on a whole new meaning.
59p gets you two freshly baked doughnut's and they come in a variety of flavours. There are custard one's which are quite nice in their ... ...is very nice but not nearlt as much fun as the raspberry jam.
There are also caramel one's which seem to be on only now and then, this is apparently due to the shortage of the caramel filling which is both sweet and delicious. Sometimes however the caramel one has a bit of a gritty texture to it and as of yet I have failed to discover if this is intentional. Finally there is perhaps the bestestest filling ever, raspberry jam. There is lots of it ...
