Advantages: cheap to insure, features, low running costs, price Disadvantages: depreciation, service costs, road noise
...i have owned a rio 1.3 for over 1 year now. i have two children 6 & 3 and find packing in all there stuff quite easy, we have travelled to devon from paisley in scotland and on occassion to ireland. the car has performed admirally in every way. and the A/C a godsend at times although you do see a huge difference to your fuel consumption. around town the car is easy to manouvre and park making shopping easy.
the nippy engine pulls nicely in all gears and can top 100 mph, or so i have been told.
it is not a stunning car by any means, but if you are looking for reliability, practicality, and value for money you should look no further....

Advantages: 24 hour, easy to get to, plenty of parking Disadvantages: Expensive, very busy, can get trapped, cramped
...When heading to Cornwall, from an early start, you may need to fill up before your destination, the place you are most likely to go to is here. Most of the LPG stations south of Bristol have limited opening hours and are also awkward to get to off the M5 or A30.
This one is easy to get to, but is not cheap, it was 5p a litre or so more than I normally pay.
The LPG pump is mixed in with the petrol pumps, and is on the penultimate row, the next one out is a Diesel pump.
Since the site is cramped, it can be difficult manouvering, I ended up partially blocking the site while filling up, it is also awkwards to manouver while towing.
Other facilites are a shop and a restaurant, there is also plenty of parking behind the restaurant in a field.
The toilets are limited and tend to get smelly.
Cards, cash and cheques are all accepted...

Advantages: Great on Motorways Disadvantages: Not enough 'poke'
...In my honest opinion, the Peugeot 205 Junior Diesel 1.8L is the best car for learner drivers. For starters it's diesel, so they'll stall it less often than a petrol. It's interior is mock blue denim which is far more exciting than most others.
The car handals like a dream even if it has no power steering. Driving to Aberystwyth from Shrewsbury and back every weekend is easy and pain free on the welsh mountain roads. The car can easily do +/-300 miles on a full tank (35Litres)
Mine is a K-reg and done more than it's fair share of miles and it will not die! My sisters R-reg Fiat punto has just been scrapped for excessive rust, even though it's kept in a dry garage and not used as often as my 205.
They are great on the motorways too! Other cars the same size with equivilant sized petrol engines (1.3/1.4) would struggle holding 80/90mph...
