Friendly and Homely

Advantages: Friendly. Hospitable. Good Facilities
Disadvantages: Lack of local sponsorship

Ashford Town FC play in the Eastern Division of the Dr Martens League and are known as the "Green and Whites". I have watched them a few times and must say I have enjoyed the experience. First a bit of background. They were founded as Ashford Town in 1930 although there had been teams including Ashford United before then. Until 1989 they played at Essella Road in the heart of the town and then moved four miles out of town to a place called Kingsnorth. ...

Get back to New Zealand

Advantages: Friendly
Disadvantages: Broke

I love Ashford, but I want to know why every keeps telling them to move back to New Zealand. I am not a supporter but I am curious why people always seem to mention this phrase. WHY IS IT SAID? Is it something to do with their past or something to do with the back-room staff?
