A huge thanks for all the reads, rates and comments. It's much appreciated :)
Asos first launched in 2000 and since then has won a numerous amount of awards. They have over 9,000 products available with up to 500 new items added each week, you can see why they have won so many awards and have had positive feedback from magazines. Asos is an online fashion store which sells clothes for woman and men, as well as having a beauty section. Asos sell clothes from different brands including High street Brands, Jeans Brands, Boutique, Independent and Designer brands.
First appearance of their website it looks a bit like a magazine, with a picture on the front with a model wearing the latest fashion/trendy stock. It also notes any offers or discount on the main page in big bold, colourful lettering.
On the left hand side you have the ladies section which is divided into different clothing such as Day dresses, Evening dresses, Tops, Shirts & Blouses, Skirts, Jeans, Jackets & Coats. On the left hand side you also have other sections such as Shoes, Bags, Accessories, Jewellery, Watches, Hosiery & leggings, Swimwear & Lounge wear. They also stock a petite & maternity range as well.If you click on the Men tab at the top of the page the categories down the left hand side will then change to them men's categories such as Shirts, Jumpers, Jeans, Jackets & Waistcoats and more.
The range of ladies clothes is incredible, they do everything you can think of from Day Dresses, Evening Dresses, Shirts, Skirts, Shorts, Knitwear, Jackets and Hosiery. Jewellery, Bags, Beauty Products & Accessories.
They also stock a very large range of menswear which includes Shirts, Jumpers, Cardigans, T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Jeans, Trousers, Accessories, Underwear & Socks.
Asks have a beauty section which again is divided into categories such as Make Up, Nail Colour, Skin Care, Bath & Body, Tanning, Hair Care, Styling Tools & Fragrance. They also have a Men's grooming section as well.
***THE CLOTHING IN GENERAL***
I have ordered many tops from asos, and I have never had any problems with faulty items or cheaply made items. Of course faulty items happen from time to time, but I have not experienced this as of yet! Some clothes you order from websites can be too tight or small and their sizing can be wrong. With asos, I never seem to find this. Most of their clothes fit perfectly.
Asos have may different branded clothes featured on their website, some of these are listed below.
- Jeans Brands - Diesel, Firetrap, Miss Sixty, Pepe, Wrangler & more!
- Boutique Brands - American Retro, Doma, LNA, Nikka, Once Upon A Time & more!
- Independent Designers - Aqua Couture, Mina, Religion, Supertrash, Tofu, Traffic People & more!
- Designer Brands - Coco Ribbon, L.A.M.B, Pinko, Twenty 8 Twelve & more!
When you click on one of the categories such as day dresses, you can then narrow down what you are looking for by choosing the size, colour, price & brand you are looking for. I find this is very helpful if you are looking for a specific colour item and if you have a budget to spend!
When you click onto the item to view details for it, you can also see what other colours the item is available in and if they have the correct size you are looking for. It also give you the cost for delivery and how long it will take to deliver and well as their return policy on the item. You can also view the item in 2-3 different pictures from the front, back and a close up shot as well.***LOGGING IN/SIGNING UP***
When you go to pay for your items, you will be asked to create an account if you haven't already. If you also sign up for this you will find that from time to time you may receive e-mails on your birthday with special discount codes you can sue to give you money off when shopping online again. Not only that, but they will also sometimes send a small glossy magazine with the latest fashion/trends in, so you ca see what new ranges/items they have on their site!
I have ordered from this site many times, not just for me but my boyfriend as well and I have to say that I am very pleased with the delivery service. After placing the order, depending on what time the order is placed depends on how quick you will receive the item. If the order is placed before 2pm, you are most likely to receive you order within 1 working day, if you order after 2pm, you will probably receive it within 2 working days. I can't fault how quickly they despatch their items because they are always very quick and items are always very well packaged. They normally out a free asos magazine or a free sample of something in the box as well. I've had free magazines, Crisps/Snacks, and one time I even received an eco friendly cotton bag, which I was very impressed with.
In the delivery you will receive an invoice with all the details of the order. You will also see on the back of this there is a slip you need to fill in should you want to return your item or exchange it for a different size. As long as you return the item/s to them within 14 days of the receipt, they will offer a full refund (excluding the postage charges), or they can exchange it for another size or colour if you wish.
I have had to return 1 or 2 items before and I had to say they as soon as they have received the items, they are pretty quick on refunding the money back on your card or by how-ever you paid. I can't fault their great customer service on refunds as I have never ever had a problem when wanting to refund or exchange stock!
