very samey when it came to mission types, assassinscreed2 has done well to expand a lot so that gameplay doesn't become boring and theres really a lot more to do. There are more meapons to choose from rather than just a stock arsenal like in the former title, movement in water another expansion, all good things adding onto a winning formula. At its core the game is still Assassinate the target and do it how you like stealthy heavy handed, whatever assassinscreed has just expanded to allow more ways to do it and with many more set ups to prevent this core mechanic from getting old.

In the first game you got to play as Altair, a badass killing machine, all about being an assassin, it really took the player into the world of the lone wolf the stalker and other general badassery even the segments with Desmond showed him as a reserved ...

AssassinsCreedII is the sequel to one of the best games of 2007 and it lives up to its prequel and beyond.
It is set in the 15th century and you play Ezio Auditore. Equipped with dual wristblades, swords, smoke bombs, daggers, throwing knifes, pistols and more, Ezio avenges the death of his Father and Brothers.
The game is very long and will last about 15+ hours. The gameplay value is phenomenal with lots of things to find, lots of people to assassinate and lots of things to find. The storyline is deep, it continues from the original but it is not crucial that the first one is played in order to keep with the plot, although it will improve gameplay understanding.
Personally, I think AssassinsCreedII is on of the best games of 2009 and I definately anticipate a third game.

Somewhere down the line anticipations and excitement for AssassinsCreed2 were lost and drowned as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. If you were one of these people - for shame. You do not realise the achievements and innovative gameplay you've just forgotten about.
Okay so most people appreciated that AssassinsCreed 1 had a wealth of potential and was good fun but was far from perfect. The exact same gameplay over and over just in different settings. The moves and actions were limited, there was a little too much watching instead of playing and we had a multi-skilled assassin who somewhere down the line forgot to learn to swim.
