Eventually this game arrived after all the hype in the computer games industry. After rushing out to get my copy i got home and put it straight into my console. Upon starting a new game I was confused by the route the developer decided to take. The game starts in a futuristic laboratory. The idea is that the people running tests on the subject are able to go back in time and relive history as the subjects ancestors.

You actually play through the game as the ancestor (Altair) who is an Assassin (obviously) back in 1191 AD during the Third Crusade. You get set different missions by the leader of your Brotherhood.

On exploring the game the first thing you will notice is the breathtaking scenery the developer has managed to re-create through the use of historical reports.

The gameplay itself is very basic but that allows for enjoyment and ease of play. Free-running across building tops and shuffling up walls is both easy and a visual delight.

The only real downside is that the missions are repetitive as they all involve the same thing but dont let this put you of as this is a very good game.
