For many years I have always had rejection letters from credit card companies, these include, Capital One. Nowadays a credit card is an essential piece of equipment, there is very little you can do without one. As a final act of desperation, I applied for a card through the associates, fully aware that there interest rates were high and well prepared for this. Six weeks later the Card arrived, since then my life has changed. The current interest rate is 28.9% and compared to standard cards this is high but then beggars can't be choosers. I was given a starting credit limit of £500 and this was increased to £1500 three months later fortunately I am in the position that I can pay off my balance monthly and therefore do not incur interest however the downside is that for allcash withdrawals they charge you £5.00 whether it be £10 or £100, the other disadvatages are that you can only draw £100 a day or a maximum of £200 a week. The Associates also guarentee you a loan of £500 wiothin three months again the interest is high but worth it in emergencies.
Some good basic info on this account, but a little more detail would rate a VH. Let me know if you update this op and I will re-rate. Ciao :)

Useful way to build up a credit history with the more main stream lenders, providing it is paid in full every month - is there a monthly charge? whats customer service like? payment details, web-site etc - all these would help make the op VH - if you update let me know and Iwill happily rerate.

More info on who it's available to and how to get it is required for a VH. Cheers, Timmy.
